People ARE dying….
American service members are far from home prosecuting ‘his’ war….
The world’s oil and gas supplies are effected ….
Yet?
American President Trump is so ‘Bored’ and pissed at getting no help for American ‘Allies’
Plus he can’t seem to get a ‘deal’?
So?
He’s amusing himself by saying he wants to rename another thing….
Changing The Strait of Hormuz to the Strait of Trump???
Israel is NOT observing Trump’s limiting air strikes on Iran….
This while Trump muses about ending the War as it seems Hegseth is moving more and MORE American military assets are Iran in the Middle East?
Could Hegseth be pushing for an actual INVASION of Iran , or is this just ‘scare tactics’ that IS costing American taxpayers BILLIONS?
Could the Houthi in Yemen decide to just into the war from Yemen which would cause Saudia Arabia problems?
Could the Red Sea passage way, Bab el-Mandeb strait , be closed by Iran’s proxies?
“Nearly one month after the U.S. began strikes on Iran, President Donald Trump is sending thousands of troops to the Middle East to potentially fight in a war he said he has ‘already won,’” MS NOW reports.
“That contradiction has frustrated some senior White House aides and outside allies… They described it as confusing, internally inconsistent and increasingly detached from battlefield reality.”
“Trump calling the war already won is ‘mostly hyperbole,’ said a senior White House official granted anonymity to speak candidly about the administration’s thinking. ‘It’s part of Trump just wanting to declare victory and move on.’”
Said the official: “Trump is getting a little bored with Iran. Not that he regrets it or something — he’s just bored and wants to move on.”
…
“President Trump is prioritizing taking control of the Strait of Hormuz as he grows frustrated by the lack of military help from allies to force open the economically crucial waterway,” the New York Post reports.
“And once Trump ends Iran’s reign of terror over the global shipping route, he’s considering rechristening it the ‘Strait of America’ or even after himself.”

An Iranian strike injured 12 U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, two of them seriously, on the Prince Sultan Air Base, two U.S. officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly, said on Friday.
The combined missile and drone attack amounted to one of the most serious breaches of American air defenses in the course of the monthlong war with Iran. At least two KC-135 aerial refueling planes also suffered significant damage in the attack.
There were also Israeli strikes on industrial and nuclear sites in Iran on Friday, more Israeli evacuation warnings in Lebanon and threats from the Iran-allied Houthi militia in Yemen of the possibility of opening another front in the war.
Iranian media reported attacks on two nuclear sites, a uranium processing plant and a nuclear research facility, and the Israeli military claimed responsibility for those strikes. Two steel plants and another industrial complex were also hit. Iran threatened to retaliate against industries in the region with American shareholders or ties to Israel.
Iran has bombed U.S. bases across the Middle East over the course of the war, deploying a vast arsenal of ballistic missiles and drones in an effort to retaliate and disrupt the American bombing campaign. The barrage has severely damaged bases and forced U.S. Central Command to disperse thousands of troops to move them out of the line of fire — some to as far away as Europe.
In France, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Friday that the United States did not need ground troops to succeed in the war in Iran, which he said would end within weeks rather than months, even as Iran moved to assert its control over the critical Strait of Hormuz.
Mr. Rubio told reporters in Paris that the United States had not received a formal response from Iran to President Trump’s 15-point plan for ending the war. Mr. Trump has said that peace talks are underway and going well, but Iranian officials have said that contacts between the two countries have been minimal and mostly indirect, not yet amounting to real negotiations.
In Yemen, the Houthi militia raised the possibility of opening another front in the war. The Houthis, close allies of Iran who control much of Yemen, announced that their “fingers are on the trigger for direct military intervention” if more countries joined the war against Iran or if the United States or Israel used the Red Sea for operations against Iran. During the war in Gaza, the Houthis attacked shipping in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, and launched munitions at Israel, in support of Hamas.
Iran said on Friday that it had warned three ships not to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a day after Mr. Trump extended a U.S. deadline for Tehran to reopen the waterway. In retaliation for U.S. and Israeli bombing, Iran has effectively blockaded the strait, a vital conduit for a large part of the world’s oil and natural gas supply, rattling the global economy.
At the same time, Iran is moving to establish a system of charging tolls for ships to pass through the strait, which has usually operated as international waters. That is sure to anger nations that rely on that traffic, and Mr. Rubio called the move “illegal.”
Here’s what else we’re covering:

The United States expects to end its operation in Iran in “weeks, not months”, secretary of state Marco Rubio said. Following a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in France, Rubio also said Iran may decide to set up a tolling system for ships crossing the strait of Hormuz – and that he had won support from his G7 colleagues to oppose any attempts to do so.
-
Donald Trump later claimed that Iran was “on the run” and “wants to make a deal”, adding that Tehran had sent the US 10 oil ships as part of negotiations to “make up for” their denial that any formal talks were taking place. A reminder that Tehran still maintains that there haven’t been any formal talks with Washington – only an exchange of messages through mediators such as Pakistan.

Several US service members were injured by an Iranian missile fired at Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia on Friday, two US officials told NBC News. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening. At least one aircraft was also damaged in the attack. It brings the number of Americans injured in the war to at least 303.

Meanwhile, the Houthis in Yemen said their “finger is on the trigger” for military intervention if certain conditions are met. Spokesperson YahyaSaree said the Iran-aligned group would enter the conflict if new countries join the US and Israel in their war against Iran; the Red Sea is used to target Iran or any Muslim country; or the war continues to escalate against Iran and the countries of the “axis of resistance”.

The strait of Hormuz is “closed”, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said earlier, adding that they had turned back three ships trying to transit the strait. The route – critical for oil and gas shipping and for the global economy – is closed to vessels travelling to and from ports linked to its “enemies”, it said, warning of “harsh measures”.

Israel confirmed that it attacked Iran’s Arak heavy-water plant and a uranium processing plant in central Iran on Friday. Iran’s atomic energy organisation said the strike on the plant “did not result in the release of any radioactive material”. The heavy water plant in Arak was targeted by Israeli strikes during the 12-day war last June, during which the US also carried out bombings.

Israel’s attacks on Lebanon have displaced more than 370,000 children, according to Unicef, as well as leaving at least 121 dead and 399 injured. It comes after Israel announced plans to establish a so-called “security zone” up to the Litani River in southern Lebanon, prompting fears of a protracted occupation of the region. Indeed, defence minister Israel Katz said that hundreds of thousands of Shi’ites will not return south of the Litani until security is ensured for northern Israel. A UNHCR official estimated on Friday that about 150,000 people are isolated in Lebanonafter Israel’s systematic destruction of bridges…..

ISW…Iran Update Special Report, March 26, 2026
- The combined force conducted strikes around Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi Province, on March 25 and 26, marking the northeastern-most strikes conducted so far in the war. The combined force has slowly swept across Iran west to east and is now getting to some of the furthest targets of the campaign.
- The IDF has continued targeting senior Iranian commanders to disrupt Iranian command and control and operations broadly. The IDF announced on March 26 that it killed Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Province.
- An IRGC cultural official told state media that the IRGC has lowered the minimum recruitment age to 12. This decision follows reports that the IRGC is facing difficulties with recruiting new personnel and managing broader operational disruptions.
- Hezbollah continues to claim a high rate of attacks against Israeli targets in northern Israel and southern Lebanon. Hezbollah claimed to conduct 73 attacks targeting Israeli forces in northern Israel and southern Lebanon, as well as northern Israeli towns, between 2:00 PM ET on March 25 and 2:00 PM ET on March 26.

“Iran-linked hackers have broken into FBI Director Kash Patel’s personal email inbox, publishing photographs of the director and other documents to the internet,” Reuters reports.
…
Robert Pape: “Since February, the United States has surged more than 150 aircraft, two carrier strike groups, over a dozen warships, and tens of thousands of personnel into the region. Airbases have expanded. Missile defense systems have been reinforced. Command integration under United States Central Command has tightened. Now, airborne infantry—forces designed for rapid insertion and early-stage ground operations—are being added to that structure.”
“This is not a signaling exercise. It is a structural shift in military posture.”
“Air campaigns can escalate quickly. Sustained presence cannot. It requires fuel, maintenance, logistics, and time. It creates commitment even before a formal decision is made. Each additional deployment narrows the gap between capability and action.”
“Trump’s rhetoric remains ambiguous. The deployments do not.”
….
Politico: “It’s not just Hormuz. There’s a second strait in the Middle East vital to global energy markets that Iran is threatening to close if President Donald Trump fails to wind down the Iran war.”
“The world is already experiencing the worst disruption to global energy markets in history following U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran. But if Iranian proxies close the Bab el-Mandeb strait — a busy Red Sea choke point — it would compound global financial woes and likely push oil prices to $150 a barrel, experts said.”
