U.S. President Donald Trump at the Oval OfficeCertainly NOT the American Congress…..

The back and forth between Musk/Trump and the Courts IS ON GOING and test of Will and Power….

Trump WANT’s the American Government to be subservient to HIM….

NOT the Congress, Judiciary or even the Constitution….

We ARE in this situation because a LOT of Stupid people voted FOR a Criminal be President….

What else would you expect?

The warning sign’s have been evident for years….

 

The Congress isn’t doing anything….

They are cowering , afraid of two guys who have walked ALL OVER the actions of that body….

 

After the shock of the Musk and Project 2025 actions?

The ‘People’s have gone to the Judges and the Courts to try and stop the ‘STEAL’ from growing…

Lord help us ALL….

 

Trump resisted the suggestion by Democrats and other critics that Musk’s role presents a conflict of interest.
As CEO of rocket maker SpaceX, Musk oversees the company’s contracts with the Pentagon and intelligence community that are worth billions of dollars.
“If we thought that, we would not let him do that segment or look in that area, if we thought there was a lack of transparency or a conflict of interest,” Trump said.
Beyond blocking Trump’s buyout plan, the courts have also paused his efforts to put U.S. Agency for International Development workers on leave and Musk’s access to sensitive payment systems at the U.S. Treasury.
There are about 2.3 million U.S. civilian employees, excluding the Postal Service. Security-related agencies account for the bulk of the federal workforce, but hundreds of thousands of people work across the country in jobs overseeing veterans’ healthcare, inspecting agriculture and paying the government’s bills, among other jobs.
Earlier, Musk made a post on his social media platform X that harshly criticised firms that have filed lawsuits on behalf of federal employees.
“Which law firms are pushing these anti-democratic cases to impede the will of the people?” Musk wrote in the post.
Musk has also aimed his ire at judges who have issued rulings that paused Trump’s executive actions. “Democracy in America is being destroyed by judicial coup,” Musk wrote in a separate post on Tuesday.
Trump voiced a similar complaint during his meeting with Musk in the Oval Office.
“We want to weed out the corruption. And it seems hard to believe that a judge could say, we don’t want you to do that,” he said. “So maybe we have to look at the judges, because that’s very serious. I think it’s a very serious violation.”
Trump said he would follow court orders.
“I always abide by the courts, and then I’ll have to appeal it,” Trump said. “Then what … he’s done is he’s slowed down the momentum, and it gives crooked people more time to cover up the books…..

This isn’t just about Donald Trump, the criminal…
It is actually MORE about the Project 2025 people who have developed the shopping list that Musk has used his people to pick from …
Donald would be hopelessly lost without these people….
He’s just an ole guy who wants EVERYBODY to bend to his wishes….

  5. @James, I am disappointed, I have been trying (though very unsuccessfully) to avoid reading about news out the admin, but it is impossible…Today I actually heard some good news and expected to see it here and didn’t…the Maine governor standing up to Trump in the Governor meetings…this is where the resistance is going to come from…Governors and State politicians hearing it from their constituents as they feel more and more pain from the continued inflation while the congress just focuses on tax cuts for the wealthy…

    “…President Trumps apparent lawbreaking …have not significantly dented Trumps popularity.”He continues,L Trumps favorabilityticked down slightly in recent days but remain higher now than when he was elected in November.”

    Kristoff continues that despite all of Trumps reprehensible actions “ Trump might well win by an even wider margin than he did in November ,if the election were held today.”

    That’s a very light uh “ stone” you’re using there James.

  8. Forgive me, I just had to post this P1 comment thread I came across. Considering the politics of today, it is really amazing.

    These days, Democrats may feel like they are the lowest point in history, but this thread is from what had to be when they felt they were invincible.

    4/28/09.. the day that Arlen Specter switched to the Democrats and gave them 60 Senate seats.

    There are just so many proclamations that Republicans were dead forever and the party would never have relevance again.

    There was someone named Corey though who alone was suggesting that Arlen Specter might lose in the D primary and the seat could go Republican. Funny though that I thought it might take someone more moderate than Pat Toomey in 2010. The Democrat regulars on the board thought this was preposterous and that Arlen was a shoo-in both for the nomination and the general election.

    So, things change quickly in politics. The Republican Party was definitely not permanently dead in April of 2009 so maybe in that sense Democrats can cheer up. However, as great as 2010 turned out to be for Republicans in Pennsylvania and most places nationwide, in just a few years, the party would be massively changed in a way that has won many elections but ripped away the reasons why some of us used to be Republicans.

    The commentary here lately is sad but predictable. Things are very bad for Democrats these days and more importantly very bad for America and the world. Donald Trump may see his numbers decrease down the road. Other Republicans may pay the price at the ballot box, but for now, he is a political steamroller intent on inflicting whatever he wants upon America on his whim, and so many Americans are perfectly fine with that. We need a real opposition party, but for now, Democrats seem feckless and lost. What good is Trump being polarizing and even unpopular if the alternative is viewed so horribly by the country? It may not matter yet to most Americans, but Elissa Slotkin at least did more to rise to the occasion than so many others in the party did on Tuesday night.

    There is a long way to go, at least until 2026 and 2028 and there are many bad days ahead, but we, as in Americans of all political stripes who hate what is happening, should never stop fighting for the country.

      I FIRMLY Belive that Sabato’s shop will get things right I guessing that Democrats will NOT suffer any loses…If they DO?

      It would be minimal ….

      I will go further In guessing that Democrats COULD EASILY grab a Majority come 2027….

      The damage from Trump/Musk and the Project 2025 Hammer attacks probably will STILL be reverberating on the American voters….

      Trump is NOT ALL that popular even if there is some truth to feeling that the US Govt. IS Too BIG…

      I have come to the view that Jeffries is just gonna bid his time and let Trump dig himnself into a hole like he did before Joe Biden BEAT him…..

      Musk has just had hiw wings clipped….

      Judges , Including the Supreme’s are on his case

      The Economy is stalling….

      Maybe?

      Keeping their mouths shut IS the right thing?

      Let the pain and hurt for those who though Biden was BAD and they wanted a ‘Change, eh’?

      But this week?

      Trump HAS taken some losses….

      One can ONLY hope for more…..

    An NBC poll shows the Democratic Party with its lowest approval rating ever.

    The same poll also shows that a small majority want the Democrats to control the next Congress..

    Basically, “ the American people “ are against everybody and everything.

      • The grassroots of Republicans wants to impeach and remove judges because they are angry at anybody trying to “stop” Trump just like the grassroots of Democrats wanted to shut down the government because they are angry at Trump.

        Neither base has any understanding or concern about what is politically possible, the short-term or long-term consequences that would occur if they got their wishes, or any sort of actual end-game strategy when those moves failed to advance what they want.

        For both sides of the political coin, it’s only about emotions and not logic or consistency.

        I will also note that it was not very long ago at all that Members of Congress like AOC were telling Biden to ignore judicial rulings on matters such as student loans and all sorts of people on the left wanted to impeach or somehow remove Supreme Court Justices because they did not agree with their rulings.

          BUT?

          I SERIOUSLY DOUBT ANY Federal judge is gonna lose their job….

          AND?

          I DO NOT SEE how the Suprmeme’s can rule AGAINST ALL the Federal judges AGAINST Trump….

          Doing THAT would essentially be ruling against THEMSELVES….
