Election Results: In the NE-1 special election (new lines remember), Mike Flood (R) defeated Pansing Brooks (D) by six points. In the Mississippi runoffs, Rep. Michael Guest (R) was renominated in MS-3 while in MS-4 Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell (R) defeated incumbent Rep. Steven Palazzo (R). In Illinois, the highlight of the night was Rep. Sean Casten (D) defeating former progressive darling and corrupt Rep. Marie Newman (D). In the OK-Senate (Special), Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R) and former State House Speaker T.W. Shannon (R) will advance to the runoff for the Republican nomination. Speaking of Trump endorsements, Trump’s night was mixed as his endorsed slate went down in flames in Colorado statewide while having success in Illinois. Progressive challengers in New York seemed to flame out as well on the Democratic side….
