A FOX Poll no less!
Well?
Trump might have gained some , But?
Joe Biden without doing much?
Seem’s to be doing fine…
Maybe it’s Trump’s daily presser gaffes , eh?
The big guy IS showing he isn’t much of ‘leader’, eh?
Former Vice President Joe Biden bests President Donald Trump by nine points in a 2020 ballot test, in the first Fox News Poll since Biden became the de facto Democratic nominee.
In a head-to-head presidential matchup, Biden is up by 49-40 percent over Trump, a lead that is outside the poll’s margin of sampling error. Another 11 percent would vote for someone else or are undecided. Last month, Biden was ahead by 49-41 percent.
The race remains a nine-point advantage for Biden over Trump when looking only at those voters extremely interested in the election (52-43 percent) and the former vice president has an eight-point edge in battleground states (48-40 percent).
However, Biden’s advantage grows to 25 points, 57-32 percent, in close counties (where Hillary Clinton and Trump were within 10 points in 2016)….

REAL Good News for Joe Biden and Democrats

Yeah this seems important and suggests that a lot of Trump’s approval bounce comes from Dems and indies who are trying to express sympathy at a time of national crisis but have no intention of voting for him.

A key takeaway from the Fox News poll: improvements in Trump’s approval rating are having no real impact on voting intentions in trial heats with Biden, and haven’t dented Biden’s lead.

New FOX poll has Biden leading Trump by 9 pts. 49% to 4o% nationwide.
Perhaps more relevant in the counties where either Trump or Clinton won by less than 10 points Biden is leading Trump 57-32.
My guess is this is a sign Biden is walloping Trump in suburban counties.

Yeah, I think Trump approval increase is from a “Rally Behind the Flag” philosophy in a time of real crisis. But once the crisis dies, the approval ratings will again go down to 42% and I agree, people’s voting patterns won’t fall in line with their current approval ratings.

From Politicalwire:
A Navigator tracking poll finds President Trump is now under water on his handling of the coronavirus outbreak — this week, Trump saw a 13-point swing in his net approval on his handling of the pandemic, from 52% to 42% (+10) to 47% to 50% (-3).
Key finding: “Trump is wildly out of step with Americans with his new push to relax social distancing. Only 5% say we should roll back precautions, even at the expense of economic losses, while 74% say we should wait however long it takes for public health experts to say it’s safe, including 70% of Republicans.”
Axios: Minnesota swing voters balk at Trump’s Easter deadline.

It’s sort of funny that FoxNews ,on its own website ,doesn’t mention the Fox Poll ,but does mention the Gallup Poll that shows Trumps approval rating at 60% for his handling of the situation at hand.

FOX polls are actually some of the highest rated for accuracy.
It’s a shame the network feels it has to hide a poll showing Biden beating him by almost double dogits for fear of an anger Tweet.
