As in other polling….
Biden also leads Trump , head to head also….
So would Sanders, Warren and even Buttigieg, by smaller margins than Biden….
Gravis Marketing has released its first 2020 Maine Democratic Primary poll and finds former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and Sen. Bernie Sanders atop the Democratic Primary field. Biden has the lead in this poll with 25% of Maine Democrats supporting him. Behind Biden, Sen. Warren and Sen. Sanders are at 17% and 15% respectfully followed by Mayor Buttigieg with 8%, Andrew Yang at 5%, Rep. Tim Ryan with 4%, and Sen. Booker and Marianne Williamson at 3%. Sen. Kamala Harris and all other candidates earned 2% or less in this poll. “It is important to note that Sen. Sanders won the Maine Democratic caucus in 2016,” Doug Kaplan, President of Gravis Marketing stated. “However, Maine is now moving over to a primary system for their 2020 Primary Election which will most certainly alter the electorate that will participate in choosing the Democratic Nomination.” Maine (Jun 26, 2019)
President Trump’s viability against some of the frontrunners for the Democratic nomination was tested as well. In a head-to-head matchup against all the Democratic candidates President Trump would lose the state at-large. Biden would lead Trump 54%-46%, Sanders would beat Trump 53%-47%, Warren and Harris would win 52%-48%, meanwhile Buttigieg would defeat Trump 51%-49% in a head-to-head. “…
