Somebody up there IS Mad at America?
On top oif this?
Will Trump’s FEMA be around to help after the damage?
Here’s what we know so far:
- The eye of Hurricane Simon was moving northward along the Pacific coast of Mexico as a Category 4 storm, with its most powerful winds and heaviest rains raking coastal communities.
- Simon’s winds peaked at 155 mph (250 kph), only just below the threshold for becoming a Category 5storm, the highest on the Saffir Simpson scale.
- Tropical storm activity has been above average this season in the Pacific, due to the effects of a strong El Niño, the natural temporary warming of parts of the Pacific that warps weather worldwide.
- Isaias, the first hurricane of the Atlantic season, came ashore as a Category 2 hurricane on Friday before it weakened Saturday as it moved inland, still bringing heavy rains and strong winds as a post-tropical cyclone.
