A reminder to the rest of the world: we are still here, in Ukraine. russians continue to take the lives of Ukrainians literally every day, every hour. Year after year. For many here, there are no days off in the usual sense, for those who are still holding back and pushing away the bloody russian boot, trying to keep the enemy from advancing deeper into the country. These are our soldiers. Their families and loved ones always wait for them to come home alive, but war has its own rules and its own cruelty. And none of this would be happening if the invaders had stayed in their own homes and had no desire to come into someone else’s.
