Things ARE ONLY about Him, eh?
There are scores of competitive states and congressional districts — and President Trump is instead making plans to rally in areas where he can be assured a welcome reception. Republicans announced that he would hold rallies next week in deep-red Alabama and Oklahoma, two states he won by more than 30 percentage points in 2024, while on Saturday he plans to attend a college football game in Tennessee, another conservative state.
Mr. Trump’s tour of red states comes as Republicans in battlegrounds are increasingly distancing themselves from him. One such state where he may find a warmer welcome is North Carolina, where Republicans seem doubtful that Michael Whatley, a rare battleground candidate who hasn’t distanced himself from Mr. Trump, can win his Senate race…..
