But Donald IS losing Support
A new Wall Street Journal poll confirms President Trump’s recent downward trajectory, with his approval rating slipping to 41 percent and Democrats opening up an 8-point lead on the generic congressional ballot.
It also found a striking plunge in Republican voters’ strong approval of Trump, from 75 percent in January to 57 percent now.
I agree it is probably an outlier .
However, as I’ve previously posted ,these “ approval “ polls should be looked at skeptically.
Just because someone does not “ approve “ of Trump, doesn’t necessarily mean they will support a Democrat for say Congress.
BUT?
It COULD signal someone voting AGAINST a GOPer STRONGLY supporting Trump…..
Hence the Generic number FAVORING Democrats Steadily….

While CG left the Republican Party( because of Donald Trump) and I think he was shocked that so many of the Republican politicos and officeholders that he greatly respected became babbling sycophants for him, he never abandoned him his conservative viewpoints.
You ,on the other hand, rarely support conservative positions on issues ,nor do you support candidates who label themselves conservatives.
Not to speak for him but I believe that if he were here ?He would certainly dispute your statement above.
