Media loves thse people….
Mandani….
AOC….
A “deeply religious” Christian …Democrat running for US Senator, in a Red State , Texas…
Yup….His elevator IS going Up nationally….
He’s in a tough race against Sen. Cornyn or Paxton…
A actual WIN this November?
IN Texas?
WOULD Be a Texas ‘Mircle’ for him and Democrats….
Texas state Rep. James Talarico of Austin defeated U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Dallas for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in Texas.
Why it matters: Talarico’s victory sets the stage for a battle royal that promises to be among the most expensive contests of the year, as Democrats hope President Trump’s unpopularity translates to red-state victories.
- It also further raises the profile of Talarico, a media darling who has framed his argument against Republicans in terms of his Christian faith.
What they’re saying: “Tonight our campaign is shocking the nation,” Talarico said Tuesday night in Austin.
The latest: Crockett issued a statement Wednesday conceding the race to Talarico and called on the party to unify behind him.
- As of noon CST Wednesday, Talarico had 52.8% of the vote, and Crockett 45.9%, per results from 92% of polling locations statewide according to the Texas Secretary of State’s Office….
…
Follow the money: Ahead of the final weeks of the race, Talarico’s campaign had $4.8 million and Crockett’s campaign had $3.5 million in cash on hand, per the most recent campaign finance filings.
- On top of that, millions of dollars flooded the race from political action committees supporting the candidates.
- Talarico for TX Senate and Lone Star Rising PAC, a pro-Talarico committee, were slated to spend about $16 million in advertising over the final month of the race, per data from advertising analytics site AdImpact.
- Over the same period, Crockett for TX Senate was scheduled to spend about $3.5 million, with another $500,000 from the Texas Forward PAC, per AdImpact.
What’s next: Talarico will face the winner of a Republican primary runoff between U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton….

It sounds like Trump is about to endorse Cornyn and tell Paxton to drop out.
Will Paxton go along? Should be interesting to watch. A lot of people on the right will be upset at Trump doing this but what choice do they have if they want to stay part of the cult? A lot of damage to party unity has clearly already been done.
Online MAGA is in a full-out Civil War regarding Cornyn-Paxton and a Trump endorsement/demand.
People on the righ are beyond belief that Trump might somehow endorse Cornyn. They say it would be it for them, a total betrayal, that they would be done with Trump forever and would not even vote in November.
Do they mean it? Obviously, it is stirring up a lot of emotions these days, but this is turning into quite a political story, with widespread ramifications.
John Thune has his work cut out for him to get Trump to still do what he is signaling he will do.
Another sign that things ARE IMPLODING?
I keep telling Jack
Trump’s history IS Screwing things Up!
Trump’s history is finding a way to survive or recover whenever people proclaimed him “done for good.” At least for now.
Gee James thanks for “ telling” me that Trump screws thing up.
Without your “ guidance “why I would be as a lost puppy wandering aimlessly in the wilderness.
He, he, he….
You Might….
NOT others…
Maybe Paxton can get job on DC?
Offering a government job to Paxton in exchange for a political favor would be an absolute felony. Of course, things like that do not matter in Trumpworld.
And?
Would Bondi prosecute THAT?
