I have also watched as the media , owned by rich people , stopped in their tracks and did a u-turn to bend over to please that guy , least he go after them…
Starting with the Governor of California….
Democrats and Americans shitted on HAVE crawled back….
Riding on the backs of Federal judges appointed by Democratic AND Republican President’s ….
There HAS be pushback….
First there was a fear that ‘The President‘ would ignore those judges….
But ?
With order after order going against him?
And ‘his’ Justice Department Lawyers getting chewed on by the judges?
His people have begun to get him to bend ….

Acting like you ARE the American ‘KING’ IS coming back AGAINT Donald Trump and Company….
Last night’s Grand Slam for Democrats IS about HOW the American people and their system of Government works….

I would have voted for Cuomo….
He WAS a decent Governor who built a lot things that will make New Yorker’s and other’s happy….

Andrew Cuomo IS YESTERDAY in a Urban city that is NOT what it was even a decade ago….
If you look at the vote location’s for Cuomo and Mamdani you will notice something….
The places where there are ‘home owners’ and older voters?
Cuomo won strong…
The places where there are apartment’s, recent arrivals and younger New Yorkers?
Mamdani won the election ..
The ‘Big Apple’ IS changing from what it was when Cuomo and even Trump grew up in Queens….
Again….
Cuomo Is/Was Yesterday….
Mamdani IS gonna have a rough time as Mayor….
New York IS a complex place that provides homes for the poor, middle class and rich….
The Mayor will have to navigate to governor…
I wish him good luck…
He WILL need it….
As for the media rummaging about national implication’s of Mamdani’s win?
Get REAL…..
The you man’s Biggest thing to translate nationally is ‘The Economy’….
He won on promising vague undeliverable ‘Free Stuff’….
He won on ‘Diversity’…..
He carried immigrants….
Those things, minus the Economy will NOT WORK across the country …..
(Republicans are ALREADY seeking to use these things AGAINST Democrats)

I was right about RFK Jr. years ago, even as people on here went to great lengths to defend him and attack any criticism of him.

I will be right about Zohran Mamdani. He is not a good person. It has nothing to do with religion or even ideology. He is going to cause you folks who are Democrats a lot of grief in a very short period of time. You know it is coming but because he has a D next to his name, are trying to avoid the inevitable, just like Republicans cowardly did with Trump.

Oh I’m happy you voted for Biden and Harris. But what does it all mean when you pat yourself on the back for being right about this particular candidate or that particular candidate when you were massively wrong about your party as a whole?
I don’t think I was massively wrong at all. When I was a Republican at least until 2016, I was happy to be one. I thought we were right. I still believe almost everything I believed then.
When the party changed, I left. I could have changed what I believed or shoved those principles to the side, as so many others have, but I put the country and my own conscience first.
If Democrats ever become something you do not recognize or believe in, I hope you will do the same.
I do happen to think I am a good judge of character when it comes to politicians. There have been many who I agree with but I felt uneasy about personally and others whom I have many disagreements with but that I have respected.
But I cited my views on Donald Trump and RFK Jr. I sensed badness in them innately. I feel the same thing about Zorhan Mamdani. Even if I shared his politics, I think it would be recognizable. This is why so many Democrats and liberals, even in NYC, could not support him, and will find it hard to defend what is coming.
For the sake of the people that live in NYC and the greater overall population, I hope my fears are wrong, but I hoped that about Trump too.

I would have no way of knowing that Denny Hastert had abused a student in the 1960s. Nobody did or he would never have been elected to anything, but maybe some people are better at hiding their secrets.
What I do know is that RFK Jr had been an extreme anti-vaxxer for many years and during Covid, less than 4 years ago, any criticism I had of him on here was pushed back on and RFK Jr. and his role in the D party was defended. You should have listened then.
