This is JD Vance’s biggest political problem in 2028. How on earth is he going to get the MAGA base to accept her?
In an interview, Vance basically claimed that his wife is atheist/agnostic. That is apparently better than having people believe she is a Hindu. He said he was also atheist/agnostic when they met and he holds out hope she will become a Christian one day.
Of course, at an event yesterday, Vance refused to condemn anti-Semitism when somebody wearing a MAGA hat when on an anti-Jew rant.
Vance and Mamdani, two bearded peas is a pod.
Correction, he said that at the TPUSA rally in front of 10,000 people. The amount of disrespect he showed his wife is staggering, but we already know that JD has no real principles.
For the record, last year Usha spoke about growing up in a religioius Hindu household, which her husband now claims she did not. They were even married in a Hindu ceremony. The way things are headed, Vance’s primary opponents will relish in having the wedding photos appear everywhere.
Yeah, I guess a lot of MAGA people are actually serious about wanting to to see him and Erika Kirk get together.

Vice President JD Vance, who drew scrutiny this week by saying he hopes his Hindu wife converts to Christianity, pushed back against critics, accusing them of “anti-Christian bigotry,” the Washington Post reports.
Said Vance: “Most Sundays, Usha will come with me to church. Do I hope eventually that she is somehow moved by the same thing that I was moved in by church? Yeah, I honestly do wish that. Because I believe in the Christian Gospel, and I hope eventually my wife comes to see it the same way. But if she doesn’t, then God says everybody has freewill, and so that doesn’t cause a problem for me.”
All political differences aside, this bashing that james is doing of Erika Kirk is really nasty and unnecessary.
