Not much of a surprise in this….
Donald Trump is up for 91 chances to have guilty verdicts dropped on him…
He’ll appeal the gulty verdicts for sure….
But?
He’d also be a CONVICTED Felon out on bail….
His base might not mind….
But?
Most Americans are NOT gonna vote for that….
More than half of swing-state voters wouldn’t vote for Donald Trump if he were convicted of a crime, according to a new Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll, a warning sign for the Republican frontrunner who continues to lead President Joe Biden in key states.
The poll found that 53% of voters in the seven closely watched battleground states would be unwilling to vote for Trump in the general election if he were found guilty of a crime, a figure that grows to 55% if he’s sentenced to prison. Trump’s 91 criminal charges in four separate indictments and related court appearances have so far fueled his standing in the Republican primary field and campaign fundraising efforts, but the data released Wednesday indicates there’s a limit to how much his legal battles will help him politically….
Color me somewhat skeptical of another poll claiming that there are all these voters out there ,who are either for Trump or at least open to voting for him ,unless he is convicted of a crime.
In effect , these types presumably know the present evidence against Trump in his various alleged criminal acts but don’t find such disqualifying unless twelve unknown people vote him “ guilty.”

That’s sort of weird.
I mean most everything there is to know about these cases is already known.There may be some other matters to come up but the essence of the prosecution cases are all out there in the public domain so to speak.Indeed, the prosecution is eager to begin the trials so their cases are ready.Further ,if there is a lot more it would surely have leaked by now.Its Trump who is attempting to delay things.
Of course all this may be moot as none of these criminal matters may come to trial before the election.
I still don’t understand though how someone can say they are supporting Trump now or are considering supporting him knowing the evidence which has pretty much been out there awhile now but if twelve people say “ guilty?”
Why that changes everything !

I know some people ARE having a tough time getting their heads around the idea that ole Donald J. Trump is NOT what he tries to sell…..

9 months from now he COULD BE a broke, bitter, convicted felon, without a job a future in confinement…..
Some of us have no problem with that being the future
Nobody seriously believes he will be behind bars on Election Day.
These people think he might be innocent or it might not matter to them that he is not. However, they may think a guilty conviction would hinder his ability to govern. The average person though probably is not following these cases closely and would not be able to provide much in the way of detail. No, those people are not thinking January 6th at this point. Whether they should be or not is another matter. Remember for so many, “it’s the economy, stupid”, and nothing else because that is what they are trained to believe. Some voters might be convinced he will be found innocent but are willing to abide by a jury if otherwise found. Some of these people would stay home or vote for another option instead of Biden, so its not just a zero sum game for the Democrats.
Any sort of conviction before the election before the election would be bad for Trump in regards to a general election but Democrats are in trouble if that is what they are counting on. As of today, polls in all the swing states are showing Trump ahead of Biden.
And Yup….
Biden DOES HAVE work to do in several states he won and needs to get to 270‼️
