Over the weekend, Israelis marked 100 days of the war and rallied to demand the release of hostages held by Hamas. In Turkey, the country’s minister of justice announced a judicial investigation against Israeli soccer player Sagiv Jehezkel over allegations that he incited hatred after he displayed the message “100 days, 7.10,” scrawled on his wrist bandages, referring to the time that has passed since the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas. Antalyaspor, the Turkish professional team Jehezkel plays for, issued a statement denouncing the athlete’s actions.
