Quite a day for the winner of this years coveted “Dumbest Member of the Senate” award.
We are speaking here of Tommy Turbeville aka “The Alabama cracka”
TomTom got the day rolling by telling HuffPost that the adverse verdict in Trumps Sexual abuse case “makes me want to vote for him twice.”
Not content to make himself look ridiculous with that one, “cracka “ followed up by telling NPR when asked if White Nationalists should be in the military “Well they( Dumb dumb doesn’t identify who ‘they’ is) call them that.I call them Americans.”.In fairnesss it’s possible Tommy doesn’t know what a “white nationalist “ is.Its really difficult to explain what a foolthis clown is.
So sexual abuse, White Nationalism, none of it a big deal to this dumb bastard.
I mean he gives new meaning to that word…
DUMB!

McConnell breaks with Tuberville over blanket hold on military nominees
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) said Wednesday that he does not support Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s (R-Ala.) blanket hold on more than 180 non-political military promotions, which Democrats say is keeping qualified people out of key roles.
“I don’t support putting a hold on military nominations, I don’t support that,” McConnell told reporters.
Tuberville has held up the promotions of 184 general and flag officers for weeks to protest the Defense Department’s abortion policy of providing paid leave and travel reimbursements to service members who have to cross state lines to obtain abortions and fertility treatments.
Asked whether there is a way to resolve the impasse, McConnell said: “You’ll have to ask Sen. Tuberville about that.”
McConnell said he doesn’t support the blockade of military promotions but added “as to why” they’re not moving, “you need to ask Sen. Tuberville.”
The GOP leader’s comments came after seven former secretaries of Defense sent a letter to the Senate last week warning the hold on promotions is “harming military readiness and risks damaging U.S. national security.”…

Clawback?
Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s office on Wednesday clarified statements he made about white nationalists serving in the military.
“Do you believe they should allow white nationalists in the military?” the Alabama senator was asked during an interview on WBHM that was posted online on Monday. “Well, they call them that. I call them Americans,” Tuberville said.
On Wednesday, Tuberville’s office clarified those remarks to a publication in his home state, telling AL.com that Tuberville’s comment “shows that he was being skeptical of the notion that there are white nationalists in the military, not that he believes they should be in the military,” and that the senator believes members of the military are “patriots.”….
