That would mean primarying President Joe Biden….
Kennedy’s dad and Unccle wher both assisnated. while in office….
His dad the Arttorney General….His uncle the President….
But Democrats would have a issue with him….
He’s a strong anti-vaxxer….
A familiar name could be returning to the first-in-the-nation primary campaign trail for the first time in four decades.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Friday he’s thinking about running for president, but it would be a very different kind of campaign than the ones run by his family predecessors.
It has been a long time since the Kennedy name was associated with a long shot, outsider presidential campaign, but those days could be making a comeback. On Friday, Kennedy, speaking at St. Anselm College, was asked if he’s considering a run for the White House in 2024.
“I am thinking about it,” he said. “I’ve passed the biggest hurdle, which is my wife has green-lighted it.”
In a one-on-one interview with News 9, Kennedy said he would not be deterred if President Joe Biden sought a second term, and he would run on progressive campaign issues.
“On the rigging of the system, the war against America’s middle class,” he said.
One issue puts Kennedy out of step with the Democratic Party. For years, he has been a leader in what he and others call the vaccine resistance movement….

But not to the under 50 or 60 crowd….
Biden REALLY has this unless something REALLY crazy happens….
I remember the 1980 general election but I have no memories of the primaries that year when a sitting Democratic President lost some primaries to a Kennedy.
No chance of that happening to this Democratic President.
Dynasties in this country don’t tend to last over multiple generations.
And I think that’s a good thing. The Kennedys had their run but after 25 years or so they were no longer considered future Presidential candidates. The Bush’s had a similar run. Jeb “Please Clap” is probably the last of that family to be a serious contender for the WH.
The Tafts took their dynasty local and there was still a Taft as Governor of Ohio as recetly as 15 years or so ago.
I was around to actually see Ted & Co departing NYC after he got out maneuvered….
The man just was in shock….

Marianne Williamson *might* gain a foothold amongst Democrats looking for an alternative to Biden. She at least offers up something the party might want. Probably wouldn’t be enough, though.
RFK Jr, not so much. Not even a Pat Buchanan level nuisance to the President. The picture in the article says it all: Human asterisk.
Williamson is gonna get media attention and THAT is all…..

But Biden don’t have a “wave’ of criminal and civil cases coming at him like Trump….
