Remember back months ago when pundits and media types where saying….
Oh, ‘NOBODY is gonna run against Trump’….
He’s got the nomination….
THAT is N OT the case folks….
The political media just focuses on politics….
But?
THAT is NOT ‘just’ the case with Donald J. Trump , and ex-President….
Criminal Grand Jury’s ARE hearing his name mentioned in two Federal cases and a Georgia and Manhattan case…
A BIG civil case is brewing also New York….
We know Trump is a BIG guy….
But this dog is betting that in a year from now?
The ex-President is gonna be carrying criminal charges that will be MORE heavier than battling with other Republicans seeking to keep him from getting their parties Presidential nomination…
The Fed’s may seem gun shy …
But it does NOT seem like Jack Smith is acting that way despite a ‘memo’ saying that a Presidential campaign is a get out of jail free card …
Donald Trump tried to steal and election in broad daylight….
His effort resulted in more than 900 people being arrested….
There will be more….
If the Republican party voters are willing to pick a guy who be a convicted felon facing a general election?
They are finished….
I’ll say it here to be on the record….
Donald J. Trump is NOT gonna be President agin….
American’s on the whole rejected him 2 years ago…
And they’d CERTAINLY reject him again after all the water under the bridge the last two years…..
The other GOPer’s getting in the 2024 ring know this. and are betting on it….
Jonathan Bernstein: “While the presidential election is still 20 months away, the likelihood that multiple credentialed candidates will pursue the nomination also suggests that the Republican Party is open to change, whether in a more moderate direction or toward more conservative policy extremism.”
“Both Trump and DeSantis appear formidable, at least in public. They dominate the polls nationally and in the early states and have received the bulk of early endorsements from high-profile Republicans. There is no obvious political comparison to Trump in the modern era, but any former president is presumed to be a strong candidate. His polling numbers among Republican voters are still good, and he has far more support from the Republican Party than he did in his first run in 2016.”
“While Trump might wind up with the nomination, it’s significant that other contenders clearly aren’t frightened of publicly opposing him. It tells us that many Republicans believe that Trump will be in a worse position when voters in Iowa and New Hampshire make their choices early next year. And their hesitation is understandable for several reasons, not the least of which is that the former president is facing multiple investigations that could lead to criminal charges.”
Note…
There IS nothing on the books that would stop one from running and being elected American President as a convicted felon….
Even being in jail, no less….
