Kansas still has some abortion restrictions….
But the 2-1 vote against the state making anti-abortion past of the constitution shows that pro abortion efforts need to NOT be screaming in the streets…Not even protest’s infront of the High Courts judges….
The way maybe more subtle….
The path maybe better as one that points to abortion restrictions as the first step to having GOVERNMENT taking away people’s ‘Right’s’….

In 2019, the state Supreme Court ruled that the Kansas Constitution protects the “right of personal autonomy” that “allows a woman to make her own decisions regarding her body, health, family formation and family life — decisions that can include whether to continue a pregnancy.”
Abortion in Kansas is currently legal in the first 22 weeks of pregnancy….

Recounts seldom change results of votes….
A decisive statewide vote in favor of abortion rights in traditionally conservative Kansas was confirmed with a partial hand recount, with fewer than 100 votes changing after the last county reported results Sunday.
Nine of the state’s 105 counties recounted their votes at the request of Melissa Leavitt, who has pushed for tighter election laws. A longtime anti-abortion activist, Mark Gietzen, is covering most of the costs. Gietzen acknowledged in an interview that it was unlikely to change the outcome….
