Reuters poll has him at +48%, which is probably a outlier…
But his approval is going up and his disapproval down…
Good look for the Democratic President and probably Democrats….

You keep bring this up james and that’s fine I guess, but what exactly is the basis?
You yourself said the 48 % is likely an outlier.
So, what are the specific data points that show “creeping?”
42 to 43? That’s a slow creep.
jamesb says
Yes CG…….
I said a ‘creeping up’ in the numbers
CG says
How do you differentiate between “creeping” (either up or down) or “statistical noise” consistent with MOE present in all polling.
Biden’s numbers have been pretty consistent for a few months now. Consistently bad.
jamesb says
Biden’s approval was down to almost 40% a month or so ago……
It is knocking on 45% now
THAT is creeping up
CG says
Where are you getting 45% from?
You yourself said that the 48% is probably an outlier. Indeed, it appears to be.
Only in including the 48 figure can you get to 43 in an average, which of course is not 45.
But keep knocking. Maybe one day you will get in.

They have stabilized and are no longer bleeding, but in February my divorce from the President and Democrats will be final…a simple 10K promise for student loan relief…Fuck Branden…
I jest somewhat, but yeah I won’t be voting for Democrats for a while…won’t be voting for the darkside cause I have a brain, but sit out in protest is most likely the remedy. But I will continue to right and contact political offices and air my grievances and reasons for them…

Sure- lose the democracy for good out of anger over not getting something from Santa? I consider myself a progressive, but student loans for prior students was in my opinion one of Biden’’s most irresponsible promises.
Although I consider myself a progressive, loan relief for prior students was always a stupid idea in my opinion. It penalizes people who paid for college without student loans. A lot of people worked their way rhrogh college with side jobs. I did.
bdog says
I did as well, at this point the money I owe in loans is simply interest not principal…I paid over 30K in loans, the 6K i owe is the exorbitant interest they put on a college loan, real loan reform would be to give interest free loans for college, that way you pay for what you need, but nothing more.

I should add that I lived at home for 3+ years (thank you mom and dad) and was aided by a very large scholarship from Seton Hall, so that I never actually had any student loans of substance. And my company paid for grad school at NYU. I had to pay for all books and everything that wasn’t tuition.
I do believe that the community colleges should be heavily subsidized, and to a lesser extent the state universities. But it is my understanding that they already are.
