But IS getting the blame….
The state’s are responsible to handle it and they will continue to be different paths for them.
(Is he sending a signal to the Supreme’s on his mandate case?)
Biden’s admission is on health and political levels…..
President Joe Biden on Monday pledged to support governors struggling with the omicron variant of Covid-19, but acknowledged the states will need to take the lead in controlling the pandemic.
Speaking just before a meeting with some of the nation’s governors, Biden said “there is no federal solution. This gets solved at a state level.”
Those comments represent one of the most explicit acknowledgements to date from the Biden administration that it will need help from state and local governments in its efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The president may be concerned that federal initiatives to contain the virus can’t be effective without states’ help. The comments could also be an attempt to put added pressure on governors to take a greater role in controlling the disease…
Reflecting differences in attitude toward the virus and public safety priorities nationwide, governors’ responses to the Biden administration’s efforts have been mixed….
It should be pointed out that overall virus case numbers ARE going to top the worst reported up to now for several reasons….
More testing IS being done….
The Omicron strain is wildly more infectious …
On the average this strain has much less stronger with hospital stay and death numbers much less vs cases (More than ten times less, it appears for all Americans)….
The media continues to focus on case numbers not the fact that people do not get severely sick from the new strain as has been apparent from the onset….
