SURPRISE!
Voters say they generally trust ABC news, and CNN the most and distrust Fox News Channel the most among mainstream news outlets, according to a new Hill-HarrisX poll.
Forty-five percent of registered voters in the Oct. 18-19 survey said they generally trust ABC News while 44 percent said they trust CNN.
Forty percent of respondents said they distrust Fox News followed by CNN and MSNBC, at 35 percent each.
Voters were most unsure about One America News Network and Newsmax, with 48 percent and 46 percent, respectively, saying they distrust the conservative networks.
Seventy-one percent of Democrats said they generally trust CNN while 70 percent said the same of ABC and 64 percent said they trust the New York Times.
54 percent of Republicans said they trust Fox News….
ABC and CBS for me. A network with Chris Cuomo in Primetime is not trustworthy.
To be honest….
I started with MSNBC….
Then CNN….
Now?
I hardly ever watch TV cable news…..
My choice now would be CNN

I don’t regard Fox, Newsmax and One America as “ news” networks.
They are to news what the WWE is to sports .
They are news/ entertainment.Their primary purpose is to feed the right wing line to their audience ,masquerading the propaganda into the facsimile of an actual” news” story.
Fox has one legitimate newsman in Chris Wallace to at least project the aura of some legitimacy.I figure one day the well paid Wallace will write a book detailing how he was the cog in the Murdoch’s right wing entertainment efforts and his consternation ( soothed Im sure by the aforementioned “ well paid” status ) at the nightly lies and agitation by the so calked news networks entertainers .
Jack, I like the analogy of Fox News being the WWE equivalent of the news Channels. I will likely use that analogy myself I the future.
