Bill De Blasio ‘Hasn’t Ruled Out’ Challenging Governor Andrew Cuomo in 2022 Election
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio may run for governor in 2022 against New York’s incumbent governor, Andrew Cuomo.
In his daily news conference on Monday, de Blasio said he “hasn’t ruled out” a potential run for higher office next year. A New Yorker called into the media advisory to ask de Blasio if he had intentions to take part in the gubernatorial race.
“I haven’t ruled in or ruled out anything,” de Blasio said. “I haven’t made any decisions about the future.”…

BREAKING: NY Attorney General James investigation into Gov. Andrew Cuomo concludes the governor sexually harassed multiple women, including current and former employees.
The report also details at least one instance of retaliation after an employee came forward with allegations
New York Attorney General Letitia James reports that her investigators found that:
Gov. Cuomo “engaged in unwanted and inappropriate groping, kissing, hugging, and comments that accusers called ‘deeply humiliating, uncomfortable, offensive, or inappropriate’…
Some continue to insist that Cuomo will be reelected.
With the findings of this investigation, showing he broke several state and federal laws, he ought to resign today.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo made a last-ditch attempt to avoid getting impeached over the slew of sexual harassment allegations against him.
The three-term Democrat tried to cut a deal with the state Legislature, swearing that he won’t run again if impeachment talks get scrapped, a top party official confirmed.
“It was something that was floated to me by the folks in the Cuomo camp as a possible option before the attorney general’s report came out,” NYS Democratic Party Chairman Jay Jacobs told The Post, adding, “I never saw it as a viable option.”…

“No Love for Johnnie” (British, 1961),
Johnnie Byrne, a cynical and burnt-out Yorkshire Labour MP, whose career has seemingly stalled due to his ostensibly leftist leanings, is re-elected with the victorious Labour Party after a general election. Bitter not to receive an invitation to join the Government, his left-wing wife leaves him, and he accepts an invitation to lead a conspiratorial group of MPs working against the centrist government. Mary, the single woman upstairs, adores him, but they never quite become a couple.
Johnnie falls in love with a 20-year-old student/model Pauline, and misses making an important speech against the Government’s militaristic plans because he is in bed with her. His conspirators turn against him and cause his local party to attempt to deselect him. He narrowly escapes a vote of no-confidence in his Constituency Labour Party, and goes in search of Pauline, who has ended their relationship, still in love, but knowing it is not the right relationship for her.
He goes back home, to find his wife who wants to try again, and she gives him her phone number. The Prime Minister offers him a post, and reveals that the reason Johnnie was not offered one before was due to his wife’s communist connections. Johnnie tears up the paper with his wife’s phone number and embraces his role in government.
