Joe Biden actually polls higher with younger voters then the public in general…
Younger voters , with less income starting off on their own, support Biden’s move to more BIG Government…..(Which Biden and Democrats ARE doubling down on and GOPer’s are NOT)
The poll seems to be a warning sign to Republican’s and their allegiance to the Trump supporter’s going into next years midterm elections…
The poll also pointed to young Americans NOT trusting Trump’s old way of talking to people…
They have moved away from Facebook and Twitter the two prime means of social media for most American political types…
Biden has hit the highest favorability rating — 63 percent — among college students who are registered voters of any president in the youth poll’s 21-year history, according to the poll.
Sitting at an overall 59 percent approval rating with those surveyed, Biden’s popularity among young voters also marks a dramatic U-turn for the 78-year-old president: at this time last year, only 34 percent of all young adults viewed Biden favorably, per the spring 2020 Harvard Youth Poll. Another striking development: young Americans are more hopeful about the future of America than they were in the fall of 2017 – almost a year after former president Trump took office. Only 31 percent of young Americans were hopeful about the future of America at the time and 67 percent were fearful.
Four years later, 56 percent of young Americans are more optimistic – especially young people of color.
- “While the hopefulness of young whites has increased 11 points, from 35 percent to 46 percent – the changes in attitudes among young people of color are striking,” according to a memo penned by Della Volpe. “Whereas only 18 percent of young Blacks had hope in 2017, today 72 percent are hopeful (+54). In 2017, 29 percent of Hispanics called themselves hopeful, today that number is 69% (+40).”

What is the time table you think he will have before he eliminates some form of student Debt? August? September (when payments are set to start back up? Or he Doesn’t get it done?
Thoughts?
I’d say he will eliminate the 10K as he promised not making the progressives happy, but at least fulfilling his campaign promise…

I have no idea when he would do it….
But I agree $10,000 IS probably as high as he would go on his own….
Congress is who he wants to do anything higher and the chances of THAT are about ZERO…
jamesb says
Progressives would have a better chance of making $50K an amendment in a ‘must have’ bill…

Probably…I just hope he does it, that would finish off the rest of my loans…I will gladly take the tax hit as well, cause paying 1K in taxes as opposed to 6K on loans is a lot better 🙂
