That includes some of the money diverted from military construction funds and all the money former President Donald Trump had reprogrammed from a variety of other Pentagon initiatives…

In sum, of the $9.9 billion taken from the Pentagon for the border, none of the money overseen by the congressional Appropriations subcommittees on Defense is still available. And only a few billion in military construction funds overseen by the subcommittee on Milcon-VA is left.
On April 30, the Pentagon and White House announced that unspent border money would be recouped. But the details about how few dollars were available was not explained. And the exact figures are still being worked out, officials said..

Touted here for her anti Trump statements and as “proof” of Trumps lessening influence in the party ,her position within the House Republican leadership is now increasingly in doubt.
According to Axios…Rep.Jim Banks,Chair of the Republican Study Committee ,says her criticisms are an “unwelcome distraction.” He questioned whether she will retain her position another month.
The Republican Whip Rep.Steve Scalise says”This idea that you just disregard President Trump is not where we are and,frankly, he has a lot to offer still.”
House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy says that Cheney is “not being productive.”
