This is an extension of the conversation four years ago where you insisted that the Obama appointees would continue to run the government when the vast majority of them departed their posts on January 20th.
This story is about a political appointee who is attempting to burrow into the highest career position available to remain employed with the government in the new administration.
It’s been done, but rarely. This is something that the Trumpers are trying in other Agencies and it’s a problem. Civil servants cannot just be fired and they will have access to confidential as the new Administration formulates policy.
