“We are also in advanced discussions with multiple other government bodies and we hope to announce additional supply agreements soon,” BioNTech chief executive Ugur Sahin said in a news release. “Our goal remains to bring a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine to many people around the world, as quickly as we can.”

Well, that renowned germophobe will of course declare that he was a strong advocate for hand-washing years before anyone had heard of Anthony Fauci or Deborah Birx.
Late to the Vaccine Party Debate…but Two months ago I put my money on Pfizer/biontech and Astrazenca/Oxford University…So far they have two of the most promising vaccines out side of Moderna and a few Chinese companies…
Each vaccine candidate is different, some are mRNA vaccine candidates, some are the more traditional weakened or inert virus (the Chinese companies), and some are protein type vaccines designed to stimulate an immune response (a little more traditional)…
With that said, so far the testing has been positive on most of them, will that pan out in the large tests, we shall see, no one knows, but I can see James point because a lot of the scientists (Fauci included) is championing the idea that a vaccine will be ready by next year (the time tables of next year vary from January to December)…doesn’t mean it will definitely happen, but it probably will happen (neither Jack nor James are right in this debate cause it is about something that hasn’t even happened yet, but I am betting on the side that it will come to fruition). There is going to be a lot of money to be made on the vaccines, it is likely that older folks may need two shots to reach full vaccination level and that it is possible that it may require yearly vaccines just like the Flu…that is a shit ton of production and a lot of sales for these companies…
And they will make money from you and me the ole taxpayer….
But I’m glad the vaccine WILL BE free….

General approval for one or more of the vaccines will be before July 2021 with the way things are going….

Once again, my simple statement of fact is,there does not exist today a “vaccine” that prevents, cures ,or in any way ,shape, or form ,works against Covid 19.There exists numerous vaccines ,some of which show “promise” in various stages of development and testing.However, there is no guarantee that any of them will be effective at this time.
