Early this week we had Amy Klobuchar leak on vetting…
Last week we had Kamala Harris….
Today we have a CNN piece spotlighting Senator Warren….
Warren is on the top of polls for the spot, but has negatives for Biden….
She is a smart and driven politician that IS qualified for the VP spot, no doubt….
But?
Chosing her would cost Democrats a US Senate seat they badly need…
She is a bit too far to the left then Biden…
(While make Sanders people happy?…She would be carrying the progressive flag which could hurt Biden in some swing/battle ground states)
She would come with her own agenda that has been vastly different then Biden’s…
Joe Biden really is about compromise….Not changing the political world…
She would invite a lot of attacks from Trump and Republicans that the others would not…
And she and Biden do NOT have the chemistry of Biden and Klobuchar …
But?
Who knows?

I think Harris still has the inside track because of the need to hold on to every Democratic Senate seat.

She is a mixed/black pick…
I believe THAT is her advantage ….
I still think she should be the AG….
Better fit for Biden

I could be wrong…
But I just do N OT think she should be Biden’s VP….
In the thick of primary season, Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden brawled over “Medicare for All”: He called her approach “angry,” “elitist,” “condescending”; she shot back, anyone who defends the health care status quo with industry talking points is “running in the wrong presidential primary.”
Six months later, with Biden the presumptive Democratic nominee and Warren in the running for VP, she is striking a more harmonious chord.

“I think right now people want to see improvements in our health care system, and that means strengthening the Affordable Care Act,” she told students at the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics this week, while adding that she still wants to get to single payer eventually.
The shift is the latest public signal Warren has sent Biden’s way in recent weeks that she wants the job of vice president — and wants Biden to see her as a loyal governing partner despite their past clashes, which go back decades….

Been saying this from the jump…..
Warren’s VP bid faces obstacle: Her state’s Republican governor
….But picking Warren would likely cost Democrats one of those Senate seats, at least temporarily, if Biden were to defeat President Trump.
Warren represents a state with a Republican governor, Charlie Baker, who has the power to pick anyone he wants to fill her seat, should it become vacant, until a special election sometime in 2021.
Massachusetts law requires a special election to be held between 145 and 160 days after a Senate seat becomes vacant, a significant problem if Biden wins the White House and the Senate is evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats.
If Baker were to appoint a Republican to replace Warren, Democrats would need a net pickup of four Senate seats — instead of three — and control of the White House to win back the Senate majority, where the GOP holds a 53-47 advantage….

The Massachusetts’ sate legislature could step in, as it has on past occasions, and have the governor appoint someone from same party. However, I still think Harris is the better pick especially with the vast voter suppression challenges the next election presents. Her voice on voter suppression issues will be needed.

Been qa HAEVY Warren sale going on in the last week or so….
I could be wrong…
But Biden shouldn’t pick her…
It’s just more attempts to get Sanders the win in the long run…
