Nor wind….rain or political storm has dislodged Joe Biden’s above the margin over the error lead in the polls against Donald Trump…
While he runs his campaign from his basement…
Donald Trump appears in the media everyday as the President….But a President that is trying to ignore the everyday reality we all face…
It has not helped him do better against his opponent…Not in national polls or worst in the very places he needs…. Rust Belt and Swing States…
Donald Trump and his people have good reason to be worried less than 6 months from election day…
Harry Enten: “Biden’s lead is about as steady as it can possibly be. Not only is he up 6 points over the last month or so, but the average of polls since the beginning of the year has him ahead by 6 points. Moreover, all the polls taken since the beginning of 2019 have him up 6 points.”
“The steadiness in the polls is record breaking. Biden’s advantage is the steadiest in a race with an incumbent running since at least 1944. That could mean it’ll be harder to change the trajectory of the race going forward, though this remains more than close enough that either candidate could easily win.”

Trump’s attacks on Biden are an apparent attempt to deflect criticism of his handling of the COVID-19 crisis, taking a page from Republican strategist Karl Rove’s playbook of attacking an opponent’s strengths. Trump slammed Biden’s handling of the H1N1 swine flu outbreak in 2009, while falsely saying he was “in charge” of the Obama administration’s response.
Still, Trump may not want the 2020 election to become a referendum on pandemic management. Surveys show voters trust Biden over Trump to handle a crisis. The initial “rally around the flag” boost he enjoyed has dissipated, and new polls by Reuters/Ipsos and the Economist/YouGov show that more Americans disapprove than approve of his handling of COVID-19….
