The first Democratic Presidential Primary will kick off today….
(Polls must open at 11 a.m. or earlier and cannot close before 7:00 p.m.[35])
The voting is for 24 delegates …..
There have been n numerous polls out in the last 72 hours….
Bernie Sanders has led in every one of them…
The Pete Buttigieg has come in second in most…
The race seems to be for 3rd place which had Joe Biden there in some polls, but has Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren also in contention ….
New Hampshire , like Iowa, IS a small population state with scant minority population…
In the last few Democratic primaries?
The NH winner has NOT always gone on to take the nomination….
Oh, and Donald Trump has had a political rally in the state tonight to counter the Democrats primary vote Tuesday…
Bernie Sanders, the polling leader in the state, continued his series of big-draw events Monday night by holding a combined concert and rally with The Strokes and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in Durham. It’s part of a big buildup to Tuesday’s primary night, with the top Democratic presidential candidates drawing larger and larger crowds throughout the state over the weekend leading into the final day of campaigning, which saw the candidates and their highest-profile surrogates hold dozens of events around New Hampshire on Monday.
Sanders and his supporters hope they are building toward another signature moment for his campaign, four years after New Hampshire gave Sanders his first primary win of 2016 — and a week after the confusing, muddled vote count in Iowa left the Vermont senator’s campaign frustrated.
But the polling that shows Sanders ahead also shows there are no guarantees: Pete Buttigieg has been rising fast behind him after their neck-and-neck race in Iowa, leaving Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden further back in the latest surveys. Amy Klobuchar, meanwhile, has seen a fundraising boost and higher support in some polls since Friday’s debate at Saint Anselm College.
Here’s everything you need to know about Monday’s strategy, where the campaigns are/were and what they have been doing. Our reporters have fanned out across the state following all the top campaigns — so check back throughout the day as we update this story with key moments and new developments on the campaign trail….
*Voting information for those in New Hampshire....Here...
Note….
Bernie Sanders won the NH primary 4 years ago against Hillary Clinton, who became the eventual nominee to run against Donald Trump….
Hillary Clinton won the NH primary in 2008 against Barack Obama, who would go on to become the evenual nominee and win the Presidency…
Statewide results from Vox Tuesday night…Here

Bloomberg wins Dixville Notch Democrats as a Write-in! (Sanders and Buttigieg tied for 2nd with 1 vote)
Bloomberg wins Dixville Notch Republicans as a Write-in!
(Trump loses 1-0)
The story for all day tomorrow should be that Bloomberg beat Trump among Republicans…
Dixville Notch has been doing this for 60 years and someone wins both parties… as a write-in for both.
I guess that can happen when all the voters are in the same family.
Klobuchar wins Harts Location.
21 percent of Republicans vote against Trump there.
Thus far in the total NH vote, Biden is running behind Yang and write-ins.
Anti-Trump GOP vote in Hart’s Location is up to 25%
Ironic that Trump would do better in Hart than Dixville.
CNN POLITICS…
Amy Klobuchar wins the most early votes in the New Hampshire Democratic primary after residents of three tiny townships cast the first ballots of the 2020 election at midnight cnn.it/2vlftnF
Wow – Look at all of these posts from CG about Dixville Notch.
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg pulled out a win early Tuesday in the small New Hampshire town of Dixville Notch, the first community to cast ballots in the New Hampshire presidential primary.
The billionaire businessman, a late entry to the 2020 Democratic primary race, had three write-in votes, according to USA Today, which added that they came from two Democrats and a Republican.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), the leader in recent Granite State polls, and former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg split the other two votes cast in Dixville Notch….
RT Television has projected that Tulsi Gabbard has won the New Hampshire Primary…
He, he, he….
The votes ur talking about are in the SINGLE digits!!!!!
Larry Sabato replied
Drew Savicki
@SenhorRaposa
Dixville Notch, always a contrarian. Dukakis got 0 votes there in 1988 and he won the New Hampshire primary by 17%.
Also?
As I point out in the post….
The NH Dem winner has LOST the nomination a few times in the last two decades…
Later….
Amy Klobuchar leads in NH as off 12:00 Noon….
Joe Biden will leave NH for South Carolina tonight….
He will then fly out to Nevada….
The two state primaries he hopes to ignite his nomination race….
Remember, Nevada is a CAUCUS. So that gives him an excuse to finish behind Yang there.
I hope then get their act together for the results in Nevada
First N.H. vote coming in….
Klobuchar in second to Sanders
Biden 5th place
10% in
Media start off herding early
tonight ?
Amy Klobuchar
Many thought the race would come down nationwide to Biden vs. Warren.
New Hampshire is about to eliminate both of them.
So, what we are looking at is Sanders vs. the ultimate survivor of Buttigieg vs. Klobuchar. Those two will be the story in the next couple of contests. Who will knock off the other?
And then Bloomberg will enter the ring officially once “buyers remorse” is rampant all-around.
He, he, he
ELIMINATE Both. in state that has less people voting then my county?
Nope….
Looks like a good night for Klobuchar so far…
It remains to be seen if this translates to anything in a big diverse state…
My bet is STILL Sanders bs Biden…
Breaking…
Yang is out….
Post coming a bit later
Ah CG?
One pundit is reporting maybe 4,000 voters to be be counted …..
4,000 and u have the race OVER?
Slow Down….
The REAL race starts in the morning…
Nevada, SC, Cali… and Super Tuesday….
Yang dropping out overshadowing Klobuchar running in 3rd place so far….
Klobuchar is running 2-1 ahead of Warren in 4th place and more against Biden in 5th…
Dave Wasserman
The three major center/left candidates so far (Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Biden): 53%
Sanders/Warren: 36%
But, the first group’s failure to consolidate is the best thing going for Bernie Sanders.
Harry Enten
These are just ugly numbers for Biden/Warren. But Biden can at least claim the state isn’t racially diverse. Warren is literally from next door.
In this small first voting state ?
The white moderate vote IS splintered between the ‘moderates’….
It will be interesting to see what happens in places where the demographics are much more diverse…
Biden is definitely NOT. or of it as some think ..
But he DOES seem to have a developing problem from two other Democrats that ARE decades younger then him…
Remember……
Despite the hysterics ….
Sanders trumped Hillary in N.H. and lost the nomination race….
I thought Biden would come in 3rd….
Don’t look that way for sure…
He KNEW. probably Thursday with his internal’s which is probably why he came off the campaign and reshuffled his staff and why he’s probably in SC and then going back to Nevada….
Klobuchar should be getting a money infusion…
I rate her chances not good against Biden and Sanders but probably better now then Buttigieg….
We’ll see….
Breaking …
Bennet out also..
Nobody gives a damn or is the least bit surprised that Yang is dropping out.
That’s fine. I’m calling. Biden and Warren are done.
Four left to compete.
If I am wrong, you can remind me of this. I’m rarely wrong though.
The ABC sitcom “The Connors” is doing a live episode that includes watching the NH Primary results from the actual ABC News team.
James, Do you still think that a Biden will have a commanding lead after Super Tuesday?
YES….
James, I checked my email but I still didn’t see where you made an attempt to find an agreeable day when you will take me to lunch after you lost our bet.
I’ll bet double or nothing sometime in the future on whatever…
We here ain’t paying for meals…
But keep trying😃…
James, I am not interested in betting double or nothing ar this stage. First I have to be confident that you will honor your bet. Right now you sound like you are about as honorable on this as CG (who recently stated he is almost always right on his forecasts – but that is a different discussion) claimed that Cruz would beat Beto by 10 points and then tried to change the bet to be 9.5 points.
When you say “We here aren’t paying for meals” I interpret that to include YOU are not paying for meals – although I think we only agreed on one meal. Please clarify or let me know when we can make plans.
James, I still haven’t received your reply. You must have replied to the wrong email or you spelt my name incorrectly. Please correct and re-send.
One possibility if your money is tight, there is an upscale supermarket nearby and you can bring your food stamps. They have a good luncheon area where we can enjoy a good meal. Let me know if you would prefer that option.

(Biden gonna catch Warren?)
Bernie “bigfoots” Pete and comes out while his opponent is still speaking. Ah, politics.
I am not sure why Buttigieg spoke with only the flag as the background and not a group of people standing behind him. Maybe they couldn’t find enough diversity at the event
Biden is not going to catch Warren. Pete is not going to catch Bernie, but for people with money on any of this, maybe Tulsi catches Steyer..
Gabbard over a thousand votes ahead of Yang despite not being in the last few debates.
NH has always had some weird people. These are probably the Ron Paul voters.
Weld easily bests Patrick in the battle of ex neighboring Governors.
(Maybe Mitt got more write in votes, in both parties, than Patrick got on the ballot)
Buttigieg should mention that since 1984 (so in his entire life), the 2nd place finisher in NH has won the nomination in contested primaries 4 times, including the last two.
(The NH Dem winner has won 3 times since ’84 but one of those was Gore)
What’s more embarrassing?
That over the past eight years, both political parties in Iowa botched their Caucus?
Or the back to back winners in the NH primaries have been Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump?

We know that Bill Weld got more votes than Deval Patrick, one of his successors. Did Romney get more write-in votes yesterday (combined in both parties) then Patrick got?
