CNN aired the first of two live Democratic debates Tuesday night, and late night remarked on how difficult it is to hear from 10 presidential candidates on the stage at the same time, especially when Americans aren’t familiar with some of them.

So, when you get around to it. Please, on this thread, copy and paste (i.e. exact replication), everything that “CG” said on this thread between 10:05 and 10:49.
Far more people will see clips and soundbites of the debate, either on tv or online, that were watching live.
So, there will be plenty seen of candidates going after Biden and Biden going after others. I know you approach politics as a cheerleader above all else, but several of them had some pretty good rehearsed lines they used against him.
I just don’t understand why Biden felt the need to go after deBlasio, Castro, etc, before they even said anything to him directly.

Twitter is going nuts because Biden greeted Harris on stage by saying, “Go easy on me, kid.”
I knew that would get some attention, but apparently people are freaking out calling it “racist”, “sexist”, etc.
The theme tonight seems to be that (almost everyone) hates Biden and Biden hates everyone.

Was Harris bad enough that Booker could supplant her? I thought Booker was maybe the best out of any candidate on either night. But I think that probably overrates how much impact any one debate can have, especially one in the middle of the summer that won’t get great ratings.
Harris speaks very well, but she has to know how to take a “debate punch.” She is shaking her head and rolling her eyes when someone is being critical of her in a way that looks pretty bad on tv.
Did she ever debate Loretta Sanchez in ’16?
