The NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll also has the other top tier Democrats beating Trump ….But lesser amounts…
The poll seems to confirm that Kamala Harris has lost her debate bounce and is tied for 3rd place with sinking Bernie Sanders among the group…
Biden’s lead is stronger and more wide spread then the rest the Democratic field which places into his electabilty advantage among supporters…
Donald Trump’s strength is confined to his base, which he seems to think will carry him into office for a second term….If Biden is the Democrat he runs against ?…He HAS an issue…
President Donald Trump trails the top Democratic contenders in hypothetical matchups, according to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll’s first ballot tests of the 2020 general election.
Former Vice President Joe Biden leads the president by 9 points among registered voters, 51 percent to 42 percent — outside of the poll’s margin of error of plus-minus 3.5 percentage points.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is ahead of Trump by 7 points, 50 percent to 43 percent.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., holds a 5-point advantage, 48 percent to 43 percent.
And Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., is ahead by just 1 point, 45 percent to 44 percent — a jump ball.

Anti Trump Republican Bill Kristol is suggesting that Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown , who earlier explored ,but then declined ,a presidential race earlier, could jump into the race if Biden falters.
Scott P says
Yeah I guess Brown could jump in if Biden falters. But Klobuchar and Tim Ryan are there too in case that happens
Brown entering might just split the centrist vote.

Kristol observations apparently were the result of Browns appearance at Netroots Nation ,a gathering of leftist activists, most whom are supporting Elizabeth Warren.
In his speech Brown boasted of how he continues to win elections in generally Republican Ohio.
While Brown is usually portrayed as an establishment Democrat, he himself doesn’t shy away from the “liberal” label and looks to be positioning himself as a conduit between those two camps.
The record of late entrants in campaigns is not good though and why would these liberal activists flock to Brown over Elizabeth Warren?
I would rate the chance of him jumping in as remote.
