CNN joins them in the overall call…
We have more races to be called, but things are actually going the way this Dog and most pundits have thought it would turn out….
That Democrats would gain a majority in the Senate was counting on a ‘miracle’….
As projected?
The House IS going to have a Democratic majority for Nancy Pelosi to lead….
Democrats are on their way to gaining more than 6 Governorships also….
Clinton House races have ALL stayed with Democrats….
CNN projects 35 + House seats come January….
Gillum is behind DeSantis in Florida by about 1%…..
Abrams is behind Kremer in Georgia….
This might be the smartest take of the evening (so far). Dems are starting to have a much better night. But what we are seeing is Dems winning in urban/suburban areas, as well as showing some strength in the Midwest….

A realignment Not a wave

Projection: today is the first day in history Americans have elected more than 100 women to the U.S. House of representatives.
…
See to me this is a wave election. In the House, where the entire country got to vote, Dems are winning with ease. Further, there have been some surprises, which is indicative of a wave in my mind.
More to come…

Too soon?

@mlcalderone
Since NBC projected House for Dems, lot of talk of MSNBC about how the Trump White House can finally be subjected to Congressional oversight and accountability — subpoenas, seeking Trump’s tax returns, etc.

Actually?
The pundits are pretty damn close in their calls and also this Dog….
jamesb says
ABC and CNN join NBC is projecting the US House will go to the Democrats….
The media narrative is NOW focused on the DEMOCRATIC winning the HOUSE…
The BIG media focused races HAVE gone to the Republicans….
Trump and Republicans will try spin higher…
Trump will pat himself on the back and crow that HIS way of energizing the base works…

@DylanByers
On CNN, Van Jones and Jennifer Granholm are trying to make the case that this was a Democratic wave …
Not exactly. The Democrats are taking the suburbs … but nationally Trump kept his base energized, and the Republicans’ Senate wins against Beto, Gillum, etc. can’t be ignored…
