Is there something wrong with this for Republicans come November and the midterm elections?
A majority of registered female voters disapprove of President Trump, according to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll.
Why it matters: Women are a key group for Trump to have on his side going into the midterms, and ultimately 2020. Cook Political Report’s Dave Wasserman told Axios’ Jonathan Swan that college-educated women have never “been this fervently anti-Republican,” thanks to issues like family separation at the border and Trump’s behavior. The 66% of women who disapprove of Trump — and 59% who “strongly” disapprove of him — could be a problem for Republicans come November….

One should always remember that in 2016, three out of every seven women (43%) and three out of every ten Latinos (30%) voted for Trump.
(His support among black voters was minimal.)
Republicans certainly can’t assume such large proportions of the female or Latino vote in 2018 or 2020.
Trump fans are convinced he is surging among African-Americans (because of Kanye or whatever) and is now polling at 40% among them.
If they are convicted?
Serves them right when reality crashes in on them
