Iran has continued to stand by things the American President would suffer politically for, and IS Already getting grumbling….

Israel is dead set against stopping it’s Hezbollah hunting and attacks, and keeps bring up the uranium question that Iran is not likely to give up….

Iran IS looking for a beatdown of the American President in their front yard ….

Israel is looking for it’s own….

The Middle East countries want the Strait opened and some WILL pay the toll since Trump and Hegseth’s Military IS gonna go home sooner rather than later with Congress asking about the mounting Bill for the American taxpayers…

This IS a mess that Saudi’s and Israel helped talk Trump into with Hegseth supplying the lighter fuel….

‘If I make a deal with Iran, it will be a good and proper one,’ Donald Trump posts online

Donald Trump has given an update of sorts about the ceasefire negotiations with Iran and the apparent lack of detail, adding that talks are still ongoing.

The US president wrote on Truth Social: “If I make a deal with Iran, it will be a good and proper one, not like the one made by Obama, which gave Iran massive amounts of CASH, and a clear and open path to a Nuclear Weapon.

“Our deal is the exact opposite, but nobody has seen it, or knows what it is. It isn’t even fully negotiated yet. So don’t listen to the losers, who are critical about something they know nothing about.

“Unlike those before me who should have solved this problem many years ago, I don’t make bad deals!”

 

ISW…Iran Update Special Report, May 24, 2026

1. Conflicting US, Iranian, and regional reporting indicates that the contours of a possible US-Iran memorandum of understanding (MOU) remain unresolved and may not yet represent a final agreement.
2. Iranian officials, Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC)-affiliated outlets, and Iranian sources speaking to Western and regional media are presenting the possible MOU as conditional on US concessions and continued Iranian leverage.
3. IRGC-affiliated reporting has identified frozen assets, sanctions relief, the naval blockade, Lebanon, and the Strait of Hormuz as the main unresolved issues. This is every issue in the first stage of the agreement, before talks on the nuclear program.
4. Mediators appear to be trying to preserve momentum toward a US-Iran MOU by sequencing unresolved issues and developing technical arrangements for the Strait of Hormuz, but Iranian reporting suggests that Iran has rejected efforts to defer its core demands.
5. Iran appears to believe that it is negotiating from a stronger position than the United States and is accordingly attempting to remake the regional order in a way that benefits Iran.
6. Iran has not publicly accepted meaningful nuclear concessions in the possible MOU, and Iran believes that the draft defers nuclear talks until after Iran secures relief from military and economic pressure.
7. Iranian officials have stated that the US-Iran MOU must end the war “on all fronts,” including in Lebanon. The United States supports continued Israeli operations against Hezbollah, however, to prevent threats to Israel.
8. Israeli officials have reportedly called on the United States to allow the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to continue its operations in Lebanon, in accordance with the current temporary ceasefire in Lebanon, and President Trump agreed with this position.
9. Hezbollah officials have continuously reiterated that the group will continue to engage the IDF in southern Lebanon and launch attacks against northern Israel until the IDF completely halts its activity in Lebanon and withdraws from southern Lebanese territory…

The Guardian…. on Israel NOT going for a STOP in their hunting and attacking Hezbollah in Lebanon a key sticking point for Iran…..

Israeli strikes pounded south and east Lebanon on Sunday despite a ceasefire as Hezbollah’s chief expressed hope for an agreement between Iran and the US to end the Middle East war that includes Lebanon.

Lebanon’s health ministry said two people including a paramedic from the Hezbollah-affiliated Islamic Health Committee were killed on Sunday in Israeli raids.

The ministry raised the overall toll in the war since 2 March to 3,123 killed, AFP is reporting.

A day earlier 11 people including six women and a child were killed in a single strike in the south’s Sir al-Gharbiyeh, the ministry said on Sunday, decrying a “massacre”.

Israel’s military has continued to hit what it says are Hezbollah targets in Lebanon despite a nominal ceasefire since 17 April.

The Iran-backed Hezbollah, meanwhile, claimed more than 20 attacks on Israeli troops in southern Lebanon on Sunday.

As reported earlier, Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem said he hoped the agreement between Iran and the US would be finalised and “accordingly that we too will be among those included in this agreement” on a full cessation of hostilities.
