White supremacist and MAGA influencer Nick Fuentes went all in over the weekend on supporting California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) over Vice President JD Vancebecause Newsom is more “handsome.”

Fuentes’s post appeared to be endorsing a take from fellow influencer Braden Peters,who goes by the name “Clavicular” online.
Peters recently sat down with The Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles and offered the same sentiments as Fuentes. “Yeah, but I mean, like, this next election cycle, who’s going to win? It’s going to be Gavin Newsom against JD Vance, because JD Vance is subhuman and Gavin Newsom mogs.”
“JD Vance is subhuman? What makes you say that?” pressed Knowles.
“He’s got a very short total facial width-to-height ratio. He’s obese, very recessed side profile, whereas Newsom is like 6’3″ chad,” Peters replied.
“So JD’s very tall. JD’s gotta be 6’2″, 6’3″,” hit back Knowles.
“Gavin Newsom obviously mogs him to death,” Peters insisted.
“So you’re a Newsom head? You prefer Newsom to the vice president?” Knowles pushed.
“I’m telling you who’s going to win,” Peters replied.
“Do you prefer them though?” Knowles asked.
“Um, honestly… it’s hard to say, but Newsom being that much more of a mogger and, like, having a president who’s, like, fat and especially that young–” Peters argued as Knowles in all seriousness hit back, “You think he’s—I don’t think he is fat.”
The clip quickly went viral online and several pundits and well-known journalists commented on it.
Reason’s Robby Soave noted, “The groypers all hate JD Vance—the one Republican political leader who is by far the most tolerant toward and patient with them—because he is married to an Indian woman and not particularly attractive. I’m starting to think this is not a faction the GOP should actively court…”….

Vance has been leaning much more into racial identity/grievance matters in recent weeks. This is intentional.
Perhaps it is because he feels vulnerability over Usha and his kids.
The idea that Vance intends to run as kinder gentler Trump on racial issues or on immigration is laughable. He will go harder on it. This was seen by the “Hatians are eating cats and dogs” thing he started in the last campaign.
Again, maybe Vance thinks he needs to go out of his way to appeal to those folks.

Trump, a once longtime NYC Democrat, comes out in favor of those kinds of visas and the base gets surprised and upset, but he gets away with it because he is Trump and because they are in a cult.
Everything is transactional with Trump. The current leader of India kisses his ass so he loves him. There are a lot of very rich Indian donors. That is the world Trump understands.
Vance cannot do that. While he has no real principles anymore, he knows the “base” of the Republican Party is very populist and very anti-immigration, including legal immigration. Even though he had a Hindu wedding, Vance is denying that his wife was ever a Hindi. He think it is better to say she is an atheist today. It is more likely he will have his marriage end than he is going to be a proponent of “third world immigration.”
Another issue to look for is how many on the MAGA right are turning on Vivek Ramaswamy and how it might cost him the Governorship of Ohio, which is something I have thought for a very long time now.

I do not believe there has been one think about it posted here, but the MAGAverse is totally obsessed with the stories out of Minnesota and social services fraud that they are associating with the Somali community. This also is being covered somewhat in the mainstream media, but this is the type of thing that Vance and everyone else on that side will focus on.
james is in a confirmation bubble where he thinks everything associated with Trump is as unpopular he wants it personally to be, while at the same time, MAGA online types are totally convinced that Trump and his policies are wildly popular. These days, many people only consume the news that fits their own bias.
Since I am in neither bubble, I will say that there certainly appears to be issues in regards to fraud having taken place in Minnesota, and it might not necessarily speak well to the leadership of Tim Walz. However, I very much doubt that it is anywhere near the gargantuan scales that the MAGA white nationalists are claiming.
In my view, Tim Walz ,although mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2028 ,is going nowhere in that regard.
Right now, he might have a difficult time getting reelected as Governor in 2026 unless “look how much Trump hates me” works there, and it could.

I do not think Walz is going to run for President regardless, but I think it speaks poorly for him to have not being saying anything other than “I fully stand by my former running-mate Kamala Harris and I will support her in whatever she chooses to do.”

I do not think Miller will be “put on the shelf.” If anything, he will replace Susie Wiles.
And since james is completely convinced that Donald Trump is close to death in regards to his health, that means JD Vance would be President before the next election. If that happens, it would improve his political standing, by traditional logic at least.

Why he would dump Miller ,so to speak ,makes no sense to anyone except James,a man who “ sees” all sorts of things that no one else here does or anywhere else for that matter.
Indeed even with the widespread speculation that the Republicans are going to to lose the House next year,I haven’t run across any talk that such would cause Trump to jettison one of closest advisers.
Prediction- Neither JD Vance nor Zohran Mamdani will be “moving to the center” in 2026.
