Pete Hegseth IS making his soldiers worried AND NOT Happy…
Senior military officials have expressed apprehension about the new defense strategy introduced by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, which emphasizes domestic security at the expense of international alliances, particularly with nations such as China and Russia. Critics argue this shift could undermine both national and global stability. A Pentagon memo surfaced earlier this year, revealing internal dissent among top brass, who warned that Hegseth’s approach risks weakening military preparedness and straining diplomatic relations with key allies.
Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) criticized Hegseth, asserting he “embodies dangerous views that undermine our military’s efficacy, lethality, and readiness.” Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI) echoed these concerns, stating, “This comes at the expense of real national security. But obviously they don’t give a rip.”
Hegseth defended his strategy, stating, “There needs to be more warfighter training.” He added, “We don’t do enough of it. We don’t do enough flying training. I like this approach … I thought it was a strong speech.” Hegseth argues that the emphasis on domestic security and warfighter readiness reflects lessons learned from recent conflicts and internal assessments. He points to training shortfalls, maintenance backlogs, and overstretched forces.

Representative Pat Ryan (D-NY) strongly opposed the strategy’s domestic focus, declaring, “Deploying U.S. troops against U.S. citizens in American cities isn’t just unprecedented and unconstitutional — it’s UNAMERICAN.”…

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell supported the strategy, stating, “The war on warriors is over.” He added, “Political correctness has no home at the Department of War. Today’s address cements a new but familiar culture we refer to as the warrior ethos and postures the department toward a new era of peace through strength.”…
