It’s a ‘safe’ vote for the four Republicans who joined Democrats to stop and take back the authority for Tariffs/Import taxes Polices, which been disruptive to the American and World Economies and have been portraying Congress as NOT exercising it’s check on a President’s Power….
The House has NOT gone along with the Senate votes….
The Senate on Thursday voted to terminate President Trump’s sweeping global tariffs, after passing two resolutions seeking to repeal the levies in Canada and Brazil earlier this week.
Four Republican senators voted with Democrats to approve the bipartisan resolution ending the steep rates on allies such as the European Union, Japan and South Korea.
The House, however, is unlikely to bring the measure to the floor for a vote. The upper chamber also approved a bill nixing a Biden-era petroleum rule. Thursday….
