Folks?
There is NO ‘insurrection’
American’s are not trying to overthrow the Federal government
They are confronting federal agents that in trying to apprehend undocumented are detaining and sometimes detaining lawful us citizens
Donald Trump, and his head enforcer Stephen Miller ARE looking for ANY EXCUSE to plant Fedearl troop’ s
(Hegseth wanted ‘combat troops deployed) to ‘take over’ American cities led by Democrats….
The federal judges have repeatedly ruled against the Trump efforts….
One can only hope they hang in there before we really do get to a second ‘civil war’
This is just another Trump negotiating threat …
President Trump on Monday said he was considering invoking the Insurrection Act to justify sending federal troops into Portland, Ore., and avoid any legal hurdles.
Trump in remarks from the Oval Office likened the situation in Portland to an “insurrection,” though he said he had yet to make a decision on invoking the Insurrection Act.
“Portland is on fire. Portland’s been on fire for years,” Trump said, describing the situation as “all insurrection.”
Asked under what conditions he would invoke the Insurrection Act, Trump said he would do it “if it was necessary.”
“So far, it hasn’t been necessary. But we have an Insurrection Act for a reason,” Trump said. “If I had to enact it, I’d do that. If people were being killed, and courts were holding us up or governors or mayors were holding us up, sure, I’d do that. I mean, I want to make sure people aren’t killed.”…

U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump appointee, previously granted Oregon officials their request for a restraining order against Trump ordering Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to deploy Oregon National Guard troops to Portland.
In response to Immergut’s initial ruling, Trump sought to deploy California National Guard troops to Portland, a move met with swift backlash from California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D).
Invoking the Insurrection Act could give Trump a way around the courts, but it likely would prompt widespread backlash amid concerns about the deployment of the military in American cities.
At the same time, Illinois and Chicago earlier Monday sued to block Trump’s deployment of National Guard members to the city after the administration moved to send in hundreds of troops.
Then there IS This…
MAGA leaders are demanding the White House ignore court rulings against National Guard deployments, threatening a constitutional showdown over the president’s authority to send troops into U.S. cities.
Why it matters: The backlash reveals how deeply President Trump’s base has embraced the idea that court rulings — even from Trump-appointed judges — should not constrain his powers as commander-in-chief.
- Earlier this year, MAGA activists railed against district-court judges who used nationwide injunctions to block Trump administration policies, culminating in a Supreme Court ruling that narrowed that tool.
- Now, the movement is going further — urging the White House to disregard court rulings entirely as Trump pushes to deploy the National Guard in cities like Chicagoand Portland, Ore….
…
What they’re saying: MAGA influencers erupted over the dual rulings, declaring that “activist judges” were subverting Trump’s constitutional authority as commander-in-chief.
- “We have long reached the point where Trump needs to openly defy these judges. Some random federal judge has no authority to decide how and if troops are deployed,” The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh posted.
- “At some point in time, the administration is going to have to tell these judges to go pound sand, or else we’re not going to be seeing the promises fulfilled,” MAGA enforcer Laura Loomer said in an interview with Axios.
The White House has so far indicated it will abide by the rulings as the appeals process played out, but its rhetoric toward the judiciary has grown increasingly hostile.
- “We have seen over the last nine months an ongoing legal insurrection in which district court judges … have issued rulings that are flagrantly unlawful and unconstitutional,” deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller told reporters Monday….
AOC gets into it. about Miller….
New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) told her supporters during a social media livestream Sunday that the best way to resist Trump administration officials like Stephen Miller, the deputy White House chief of staff, is to laugh at them.
“The point is that they are scraping and grasping at straws because they have nothing else. Laugh at them, Stephen Miller is a clown! I’ve never seen that guy in real life, but he looks like he’s, like, [4 feet, 10 inches tall]. He looks like he is angry about the fact that he’s [4 feet, 10 inches] and he has taken that anger out on any other population possible. Like, laugh at them,” Ocasio-Cortez said on Instagram live Sunday.
The New York lawmaker added that one way of combating the rise of what she described as authoritarianism is by poking fun at “insecure masculinity” and those who perpetuate it.
“One of the most powerful cultural things you can do to a political movement that’s predicated on the puffery of insecure masculinity, that’s what this is about,” she said. “One of the best ways you can dismantle a movement of insecure men is by making fun of them, by having secure men who aren’t afraid of successful people around them who are also participating in that as well.”….
