Hamas IS debating if they will accept the Trunp ‘plan’, or modify terms if possible , or reject the whole thing ..
This while Israel keeps pounding Gaza….
And EVERYBODY wants Hamas out so the violence ends, and hostages can go home, and maybe a Palestine can be be reborn….
Hamas officials want amendments to clauses in US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan including on disarmament, a Palestinian source close to the terror group’s leadership told AFP on Wednesday.
Hamas negotiators held discussions Tuesday with Turkish, Egyptian and Qatari officials in Doha, the source said, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters and adding that the group needed “two or three days at most” to respond after Trump stated it had “three or four days” to agree “or pay in hell.”
Trump’s plan, which is backed by Israel and has received praise from a range of Arab states and other countries, calls for a ceasefire, the release of hostages by Hamas within 72 hours, the Islamist terrorist organization’s disarmament and a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
But the Palestinian source said: “Hamas wants to amend some of the clauses, such as the one on disarmament and the expulsion of Hamas and faction cadres.”
Hamas leaders also want “international guarantees for a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip” and guarantees that no assassination attempts will be made inside or outside the territory….

‘Clarification’
Another source familiar with the negotiations told AFP that Hamas was split over Trump’s plan.
“So far there are two views within Hamas: the first supports unconditional approval because the important thing is to have a ceasefire guaranteed by Trump, provided that the mediators guarantee Israel’s implementation of the plan,” the source said, also requesting anonymity….

Israeli forces boarded several boats in the Global Sumud Flotilla and took foreign activists onboard to an Israeli port on Wednesday, disrupting a protest against Israel’s blockade of the Palestinian territory.

Greta Thunberg was seen sitting on a deck surrounded by soldiers in a video from the Israeli foreign ministry verified by Reuters. The Swedish climate campaigner is the the most prominent of the pro-Palestinian flotilla’s passengers.

Israel’s foreign ministry posted on X: “Several vessels of the Hamas-Sumud flotilla have been safely stopped and their passengers are being transferred to an Israeli port. Greta and her friends are safe and healthy.”

The flotilla – transporting medicine and food to Gaza – consists of more than 40 civilian boats with about 500 parliamentarians, lawyers and activists onboard. It put out several videos on Telegram with messages from individuals aboard,some holding their passports and saying they have been abducted and taken to Israel against their will, and reiterating that their mission is a non-violent humanitarian cause.

The flotilla’s organisers denounced what it called Israel’s “illegal” raid as a “war crime”, saying the military used aggressive tactics, including water cannon, but that no one was harmed.

The boats were about 70 nautical miles off Gaza when intercepted. The organisers said their communications had been scrambled, including the use of a live camera feed from some of the boats.

The flotilla said on Telegram that its vessels Spectre, Alma and Sirius – along with other boats in international waters – had been boarded by Israeli forces, and that the status of those onboard was unconfirmed.

Turkey’s foreign ministry called Israel’s “attack” on the flotilla “an act of terror” that endangered the lives of innocent civilians, and spontaneous protests broke out across Italy in response to the Israeli raid.

Israel repeatedly warned the flotilla to turn back, saying it was approaching an active combat zone, violating a lawful blockade and offering to transfer any aid peacefully through safe channels to Gaza.

Turkey said steps had begun for Israel to release Turks and others onboard, while Spain called on Israel to protect the safety and rights of activists and Ireland said the flotilla was “a peaceful mission to shine a light on a horrific humanitarian catastrophe”.

A total of 13 boats had been intercepted or stopped as of early Thursday, according to the flotilla’s ship tracking data. Organisers have remained defiant, saying in a statement the flotilla “will continue undeterred”.

Thirty boats were still sailing towards Gaza, the flotilla said on Telegram early on Thursday, adding they were 46 nautical miles away from their destination..
