Is all over the place depending on who she’s talking to at the moment.
She is leaving Congress to run for Governor and who knows she could actually win .Its one of the weakest fields that I can remember.Besides Mace,other contenders are AG Alan Wilson who is all into Right wing social issues and is the son of Cong. Joe “ you lie” Wilson, Cong. Ralph Norman who has Former Gov. Nikki Haley’s endorsement ( Norman was one of the few Republicans of any stature to support Nikki’s presidential bid) .Norman notably urged Trump to declare “ Marshall law” when he lost in 2020,Lt. Gov, Pam Evette who is presumed to be retiring Gov,Henry McMasters choice,although he is yet to officially say so, and State Sen. Josh Kimbrell a MAGA fave who has some legal issues.
The Democrats are not a factor in SC statewide politics having won only one statewide office in the past 20 years.
