Ukraine President Zelensky KNOWS he has some support within the United States….
But NOT with President Trump….
He has been up front in saying he needs support from America….
But he has ALSO been adamant that he will NOT support ANT cease-fire/peace deal that does NOT have security assurances, which would seem to mean Eiroepean or US TROOP’S stationed IN the Ukraine….
Europe HAS his back….
There IS a different view of the proposed mineral rights deal being mentioned….
Such a deal some think WOULD look Trump into moving top protect ‘HIS’ investment in the Ukraine against Russia….
In essence?
That would be a ‘Protection Money’ deal, something the Russian’s might NOT want to happen….
Such a action WOULD surely send American companies TO the Ukraine and President Trump would be pressured to assure their safety against any Russian actions…
The America President IS a wild card…
But about the MONEY….
ALWAYS….
Norway fuel supplier refuses fuel for a US War Ships* …..
(I don’t think this is gonna last …The US Navy isn’t Donald Trump and Norway NEEDS the US…..Ok….As expected this was a dumb move and US warships WILL be taken care of)
We understand the importance of America,’ Zelenskyy says
Kyiv understands “the importance of America” and “there hasn’t been a single day when we haven’t felt grateful” to the US, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said in his nightly video address to the nation. He said:
Of course, we understand the importance of America, and we are grateful for all the support we have received from the United States. There hasn’t been a single day when we haven’t felt grateful. Because this is gratitude for the preservation of our independence: our resilience in Ukraine is built upon what our partners do for us and for their own security.
The Ukrainian president also said there would be “diplomacy for peace. And for the sake of all of us standing together – Ukraine, the whole of Europe, and necessarily America.”
There was “clear support” from Europe for Ukraine, he said “even greater unity, even stronger readiness for cooperation” adding that “everyone is united on the main point – for peace to be real, real security guarantees are needed.”
He said Europe would shape its common positions in the near future, “the lines we must achieve and the lines we cannot compromise on”, and that these would be presented to “our partners in the United States”.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer rallied his European counterparts Sunday to shore up their borders and throw their full weight behind Ukraine as he announced outlines of a plan to end Russia’s war.
“Every nation must contribute to that in the best way that it can, bringing different capabilities and support to the table, but all taking responsibility to act, all stepping up their own share of the burden,” he said.
Starmer’s exhortation to 18 fellow leaders that they need to do the heavy lifting for their own security comes two days after U.S. backing of Ukraine appeared in jeopardy when President Donald Trump lashed out at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and said he wasn’t grateful enough for America’s support.
The meeting had been overshadowed by the extraordinary scolding that took place on live television at the White House. Starmer used the opportunity as part of his broader effort to bridge the gap between Europe and the U.S. and also salvage what had seemed like the start of a peace process before Friday’s spat.
Starmer said he had worked with France and Ukraine on a plan to end the war and that the group of leaders — mostly from Europe — had agreed on four things.
The steps toward peace would: keep aid flowing to Kyiv and maintain economic pressure on Russia to strengthen Ukraine’s hand; make sure Ukraine is at the bargaining table and any peace deal must ensure its sovereignty and security; and continue to arm Ukraine to deter future invasion.
…
It is far from certain whether Russian President Vladimir Putin will accept any such plan, which Starmer said would require strong U.S. backing. He did not specify what that meant, though he told the BBC before the summit that there were “intense discussions” to get a security guarantee from the U.S.
“If there is to be a deal, if there is to be a stopping of the fighting, then that agreement has to be defended, because the worst of all outcomes is that there is a temporary pause and then Putin comes again,” Starmer said….

As for the future of war-torn Ukraine, von der Leyen said it needs security guarantees….

ISW Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, March 2, 2025
- Recent Russian official statements in response to the proposed US-Ukraine mineral deal indicate that the Kremlin is trying to sabotage the deal through narratives targeting Ukrainian and American audiences. The Kremlin is claiming that this mineral deal does not benefit Ukraine while also claiming that Russia can make a better offer to the United States, indicating that Moscow sees the deal as harmful to its objectives.
- The Kremlin has a vested interest in preventing the United States and Ukraine from signing a mineral deal, as the deal will commit the United States to a long-term investment in Ukraine and Ukraine’s sovereignty.
- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is attempting to exploit discussions between the United States and the EU about the possible deployment of European peacekeeping forces to Ukraine as part of a future peace settlement in order to reinvigorate the Kremlin’s demands for regime change in Ukraine.
- European leaders demonstrated their commitment to supporting Ukraine at a defense summit in London on March 2.
- Ukrainian forces recently advanced near Toretsk, and Russian forces recently advanced near Velyka Novosilka.
