This IS the Middle East Everyone….
(It’s like walking in Quicksand)
While Israel IS opening up so access to Gaza…..
The Netanyahu Government was stunned by the condition of the last released hostages by Hamas …
Also?
It IS clear that Hamas IS getting over by showcasing they STILL have numbers of fighters alive and armed IN Gaza…
The RightWingNuts in Netanyahu’s government surely want the remaining hostages back, which ARE Hamas’s leverage against the Israeli military resuming attacks in Gaza which now has hundred’s of thousand’s of people BACK in Gaza vowing to NOT leave their tent cities….
Arab countries in the region already have some Palestinians and hope to get them to return to Palestine as a place to be rebuilt…
Donald Trump, the American President, a former Real Estate guy, seems to be making things more difficult everyday….
First he wants Gaza emptied ….
Then he says he want’s the US to ‘own’ the territory…
Then he says he wants to make into a ‘vacation resort’…
And now he affirms that anyone who leaves ain’t gonna be free to return….
This has now been compounded by ‘Threat’s by Trump to have Hamas turn over hostages being held back by Saturday…..’Or Else?’
I’m NOT gonna guess on this….
Trump’s claims FOR Gaza are a nonstarter EVERYWHERE except for Israeli politicians …
We now stand by while this works its way out….
After signing executive orders Monday, Trump issued an ultimatum to Hamas: “If all of the hostages aren’t returned by Saturday at 12 o’clock … I would say, cancel it and all bets are off and let hell break out,” he said in remarks to reporters. When asked whether he meant retaliation, Trump said, “You’ll find out, and they’ll find out, too. Hamas will find out what I mean.”
Trump’s comments came after Hamas earlier in the day said it would delay “until further notice” the release of three Israeli hostages set for Saturday — the first major setback for the ceasefire and hostage-release deal. Hamas blamed its delay on recent Israeli shelling and gunfire in Gaza, along with an insufficient flow of aid.
The move by Hamas came as Trump said Palestinians displaced from Gaza to neighboring countries, under his proposal for the United States to “own” Gaza and develop real estate there, would not have the right to return to the enclave. His comments came during an interview with Fox News host Bret Baier that aired Monday evening.
“In the meantime, I would own this. Think of it as a real estate development for the future. It would be a beautiful piece of land,” Trump said of the plan, which he first floated last week during Netanyahu’s visit to Washington.
Asked by Baier if Palestinians would be allowed to return to Gaza, Trump replied: “No, they wouldn’t, because they’re going to have much better housing. In other words, I’m talking about building a permanent place for them.”
On Monday, after signing executive orders, Trump was asked by a reporter whether he would consider withholding aid from Jordan and Egypt if they don’t agree to take in Palestinians. “Yeah, maybe, sure, why not? If they don’t, I would conceivably withhold aid, yes,” Trump said.
Jordan’s leader, King Abdullah II, is set to meet the president in Washington on Tuesday.
Here’s what else to know:
- Netanyahu, in an address to Israel’s legislature Monday, called his meeting with Trump last week, at which Trump unveiled his plan for Gaza, “the most significant” he had “ever had with an American president.” Israel sees “eye to eye with the U.S. administration on all the goals of the war,” Netanyahu said.
- The United Nations on Monday said it had paused operations in an area of Yemen controlled by Houthi rebels, following their detention of eight U.N. staffers, on top of the dozens already detained. “The United Nations remains fully committed to assist the millions of people in need across Yemen,” the statement said.
- Images of “emaciated Israeli hostages” released Saturday by Hamas under the ceasefire agreement were “deeply distressing,” the U.N. Human Rights Office said in a statement Monday, as were the “severe conditions” that Palestinian detainees released by Israel under the deal had faced. The statement also expressed concern over “the public parading of hostages released by Hamas.”
- Israel’s military withdrew Sunday from the Netzarim Corridor — a line of fortified checkpoints dividing the central Gaza Strip — as part of the ceasefire deal with Hamas, the militant group said, allowing Palestinians to begin traveling toward the north. Photos showed people traveling from the south of the enclave in vehicles piled high with mattresses and other belongings….

Trump threatens Jordan and Egypt…..
President Trump said on Monday that he could cut aid to Jordan and Egypt if they refused his demand to permanently take in most Palestinians from Gaza, substantially increasing the pressure on key allies in the region to back his audacious proposal to relocate the entire population of the territory in order to redevelop it.
The president also said from the White House that if Hamas did not release all the remaining Israeli hostages by “12 o’clock on Saturday,” the cease-fire agreement with Israel should be canceled.
“All hell is going to break out,” Mr. Trump said to reporters in the Oval Office, while acknowledging that the choice over ending the cease-fire ultimately fell to Israel.
Jordan and Egypt, both major recipients of U.S. military and economic aid, have rejected any suggestion that Palestinians be relocated to their countries. But Mr. Trump said on Monday that the assistance could be in jeopardy…

Hamas said on February 10 that it would postpone the release of Israeli hostages on February 15, which would be a violation of the ceasefire agreement. Hamas likely aims to retain its hostages as leverage in negotiations. Hamas’ military wing spokesperson claimed that Israel violated the ceasefire agreement by delaying the return of Gazans to the northern Gaza Strip, targeting them with gunfire, and restricting the flow of aid into the Gaza Strip.
