Exactly how is Trump going to “ bring prices down?”

The imbecility of “the American people “knows no bounds.
Most of these dipshits don’t realize that “prices coming down” would be Deflation. And it would be devastating for the economy.

As I parse this sentence, it seems to say that Trump would not consider his term a failure if prices did not come down.

Kamala Harris’s replies, by the way, to questions about affordability seemed to be singularly unconvincing.
And following up on Scott’s macroeconomic point, cutting $2 trillion from the U.S. Budget deficit would certainly have a deflationary effect (at least in the absence of the huge but maldistributed tax cuts that Trump and most of the GOP advocate.)
