It was another tough year for restaurants and traditional brick-and-mortar retailers. Several national chains announced closures and bankruptcies in 2024 – not to mention the local small businesses that quietly shuttered around the country.
Stores ranging from Advance Auto Parts, to JOANN Inc., have announced closures as well as restaurants, including Red Lobsterand Wendy’s.
Retail closures were up 69% in 2024 when compared to last year, according to Coresight data reviewed by Newsweek….
Things like this and the headlines about them are part of the reason why Biden’s party lost.
Though, I would not be surprised if you are somehow posting this to blame Trump.
Trump GETS THIS Economy in less than 30 days….

But it is confusing on your part because you are and have for a while now, admitted that people think the U.S. economy is terrible,but yet, you were convinced that Biden and then Harris were going to win because people thought they were doing a good job.
Of course, Trump will be given time when he takes office to enact his policies. He will of course blame Biden for as long as things look “bad” and if they look good, he will take credit. If the economy improves, he will be given credit. That is just the way it works. I happen to think there is only so much a President can do for the economy, for good or bad.
Rooting for a bad economy just so Trump and his party gets the blame is of course a giant act of self-sacrifice I suppose, unless one already has “f you money.”

I mereley report that ther ARE indications that the economy IS NOT what Trump tries to sell…
But in fact IS weak and some ARE worried it WILL get worse if there are tariff’s , deportations, and efforts to shave off TONS of government jobs….
