The idea that Joe Biden would NOT pardon his own kid against the specticle of losing HIS job to a guy who IS a convicted Felon that just COULD pardon ALL the crazies from Jan. 6????

While the president had pledged several times not to pardon or commute Hunter Biden’s sentences for federal crimes, many close to him had expected the pardon would come, given the president’s loyalty to his family. The move also comes at a time when Biden will face few political ramifications, given that he is a lame duck and voters have already rendered their verdict on his administration by sending Donald Trump back to office….

Not surprisingly Biden puts the Biden Family ahead of duty to America, like his disastrous decision to seek reelection. Nobody this conflicted by a troubled adult child should ever have sought the office, let alone twice. Dems who defend surrender lot of cred to even worse Trump.

We’re not accepting complaints about the Hunter Biden pardon unless you also complained about the Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and Paul Manafort pardons.
Indeed, I complained about all of those things while you attacked them. So, David Corn and everyone else can accept my complaints and my calling out of the hypocrites and the damage they will do to an already damaged national fabric.
I also complained about the politically motivated and in some cases personally motivated pardons and commutations grated by Bill Clinton and Barack Obama on their ways out of office and noted the difference to George W. Bush who did not pardon Scooter Libby in his final days in office, even though many on his side wanted him to and expected he would.
I will also complain about the January 6th pardons when they happen, while you and others like you are going to try to pretend you actually have any sort of moral standard about these things.
Joe Biden took an oath to preserve, protect, and defend, the Constitution. His partisan apologists think that should extend to protecting “his own kid.” Even more so, he repeatedly lied about this and sent others to lie on his behalf.
Donald Trump is someone who will attempt to shred the Constitution. He also will lie every day. But those who think there is a special exception to the Constitution that allows you to do something for your own personal benefit or to “f” the other side will have no room to complain because clearly you are fine with doing the same thing. You also make it clear that you do not believe Trump should face any accountability for lying. You better hope you find this will all be worth it.

I don’t think Biden should have pardoned his son. Bur in light of how many people I know and love are going to be undoubtedly put in harm’s way by the upcoming convict and rapist’s administration that 49.75% of Americans wanted I’m finding it hard to give even one fuck about it.

The amount of political cover and legal cover this pardon has given to Donald Trump for the next four years is just staggering.
Trump was already going to be powerful and relatively unchecked. Joe Biden’s actions have made him far more so.
