Another strike in the southern coastal town of Adloun killed three paramedics, Lebanese state media reported — bringing the total number of paramedics killed in Lebanon over the past 24 hours to 10. The Israel Defense Forces did not immediately provide comment on either attack.
In northern Gaza, Israeli forces struck a family home in Jabalya, killing 33 people, including 13 children, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported. Munir al-Bursh, director general of Gaza’s Health Ministry, confirmed the death toll but did not provide more information.
In a Sunday statement to The Washington Post, the IDF said it struck a site in Jabalya where militants who “posed a threat to IDF troops” were operating and was reviewing what happened.
Israel sealed off the territory’s north and renewed military operations there more than a month ago, saying it was working to root out Hamas operatives. Some 100,000 people are stuck in northern Gaza and are struggling to survive, aid organizations say.
