The path to a US House Majority maybe thru New York State…..
Republican D’Esposito trails Democrat Gillen by 12% points….
The Newsday/Seina poll showed 12% of Republicans say they will vote for Gillian, who was the previous Nassau County Executive…. Hempstead Town Supervisor,…..
The County 4th CD IS heavily Democratic and Harris polled 10% OVER Trump….
D’Esposito made headlines a month or so ago ago for having an affair , and putting the woman on his payroll AND his fiancé’s daughter also…..

It’s been anticipated that incumbent Anthony D’Esposito and Laura Gillen will be locked in a tight race for Congress. However, a new poll by Newsday and Siena College paints a different picture.
Gillen, the former Hempstead Supervisor, has a 12-point lead over the Republican, the poll indicates.
“This race is going to be a nail-biter and we need everyone who has been supporting Laura to keep fighting,” Sarah Carlson, Gillen’s campaign manager, told Patch. “We are so grateful for the hardworking volunteers who have been knocking doors and making phone calls, congressional leaders who believe in this campaign, and everyone who has been working so hard to send Laura to Congress.”
Breaking down the poll numbers, Gillen gets 12 percent of Republican respondents, while D’Esposito has the support of seven percent of Democrats, according to the poll.
The poll was conducted between Oct. 13-17 with 532 likely voters in the 4th Congressional District….
Note
Nassau County on the whole is Trump country…
But the 4th CD borders Queens Country of NYC and a lot of its residents are minority middle class….

This IS my CD…….
D’Esposito IS in trouble no matter what GOP’s say about the poll results.
A loss here would be the second House spot Republicans will have lost…..Suozzi was the one lost because of the Santos scandal…..
Suozzi should easily keep his seat Nov. 5th

Congressman Pat Ryan expressed confidence in picking off 5 seats in New York. This one, Nick LaLota, Brandon Williams, Marc Molinaro, and Michael Lawler.
I have strong reason to believe that Mondaire Jones will fall well short of ousting Lawler. The other four absolutely are pick-ups. The sleeper race I’d nominate to round out the 5 districts would be Elise Stefanik. Likelier than Lawler, whose posture as some kind of a consensus builder seems to be working on his district’s voters.
