Kamala Harris is off with a Super Charged BANG….
Something Joe Biden NEVER was able to do….
It just was NOT Him….
Teachers….
Vice President Kamala Harris is addressing a very friendly crowd this morning at the American Federation of Teachers convention in Houston. She has been a longtime ally of teachers’ unions, even when their positions have divided the Democratic coalition.
In 2019, as a U.S. senator considering a presidential run, Ms. Harris supported the teacher strike in Los Angeles, which stood in opposition to fellow Democrats who had sought to expand charter school options in the city. Later on, Ms. Harris rolled out her failed 2020 primary run with a proposal to vastly raise teacher pay, thrilling the unions.
In her first days as the presumptive Democratic nominee, she has focused on teachers. At a Wisconsin rally on Tuesday, she was introduced by an educator whose student debt was erased by the Biden administration’s public service loan forgiveness program.
The A.F.T. is led by Randi Weingarten, a power player in Democratic politics. On Sunday, shortly after President Biden withdrew from the campaign, the A.F.T. executive council became one of the first labor groups to endorse the vice president.
In Houston, Ms. Harris is speaking to educators who are largely united in support of her candidacy and against Republican education priorities that they detest. Many, including attempts to ban books and restrict discussion of race and gender in schools, have become increasingly unpopular with voters….

Criticism against Netanyahu violence protests in Washington D.C.
Vice President Kamala Harris denounced pro-Palestinian protestors who burned flags and committed vandalism outside Union Station in Washington on Wednesday, calling their actions “despicable” and “unpatriotic.” She said that “pro-Hamas graffiti and rhetoric is abhorrent,” and added: “I support the right to peacefully protest, but let’s be clear: Antisemitism, hate and violence of any kind have no place in our nation.”…

Latinas…..
Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign held a Latinas for Harris call late Wednesday that drew 3,600 participants from across the country, organizers said, and raised over $110,000. The video call opened with footage of Harris speaking about the strength of her immigrant mother, as hundreds of women logged into the chat, with calls of “Yes!” “Wepa!” and “Sí se puede!” Speakers including actresses Rosie Perez and Rosario Dawson and Latina lawmakers discussed how to define and defend Harris’s record and how to maintain the energy behind her campaign….

Black Voter support…
During a donor call late Wednesday convened by the Black Economic Alliance, Rufus Gifford, the finance chair for the Harris campaign, said that $130 million had been raised since Vice President Kamala Harris was endorsed by President Biden on Sunday. That money, Gifford told more than 200 donors on the video call, was “raised organically over the course of just a couple of days, and that speaks to the grass-roots enthusiasm that we have right now.”….
