The jubilation in the media and Democratic Party, elites and voters IS Rolling OVER Trump World….
Vice President Kamala Harris kicked off her presidential campaign on Monday with what some members of the media hailed as a speech that left them with “chills,” “blown away” and arguing over who jumped out of their seat higher.
Harris became the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate on Sunday after President Biden announced via X that he would be dropping out of the race and endorsing her. On Monday, she gave her first campaign speech at what will now be her election headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.
Harris spoke about her relationship with Biden, who called into the headquarters and publicly spoke, and focused on attacking former President Trump….

The speech, after weeks of internal fighting dividing the Democratic Party, was hailed by left-leaning media pundits as the perfect reintroduction of Harris to the country.
“There was a twinkle in her eye. There was a kick in her step that, you know, when you’re vice president…you’re not loose. There’s somebody above you, somebody you don’t want to overshadow them. And this was quite the coming out. I got chills when she said, ‘Donald Trump: I know your type.’ That was like, ‘Wow, she’s going to prosecute this case,’” MSNBC pundit Donny Deutsch said.
He continued, “And I was blown away. I was, like, I kind of fell in love with her. I thought she was smart, engaging. She’s funny, feisty, twinkle in your eye, punch you in the gut. I mean, everything you kind of want. And I just thought it was a great, great opening act.”
“Bear with me, I’m jumping out of my seat over here watching this. People have been thirsting for this,” “The Bulwark” podcast host Tim Miller exclaimed.
MSNBC guest Maya Wiley agreed, “I’m with Tim – Tim, I’m jumping out of my seat higher than you, my brother. I’m just going to say that.”….

She WILL be available to the media unlike Biden
As you all know, I am definitely not a Democrat.
But just speaking in a political sense, I should point out just how hard james was arguing against swapping Biden out for her recently and all the negative things he was saying about her politically… then. I was saying that a change, any change, needed to happen, to get Democrats back in the game, against Trump.
Going back way further, years ago now even, there were sometimes discussions on here about what would happen if Biden did not seek a second term (a long time ago, I said he eventually would not and you all would applaud for the decision) and just about all you guys were always mentioning people other than VP Harris as who might be nominated instead of Biden.
I would ask why you guys were so willing to rule her out. There were some comments about how she came across poorly and how the host’s wife did not like her, etc.
But now, I expect you will find her campaign very exciting. That is the nature of politics.

We CAN why the party has fallen behind her
For better or worse, Democrats are now free of the morass and the burden of having to pretend to be enthusiastic about an old, rich, white, heterosexual, Christian male. That is now in the past and progressives are free to be their progressive selves It now solely describes the guy you are running against. A candidate with such combination or even most of them will probably never be nominated by Democrats for President again.
I will note with some irony that after the debate, a a lot of Biden’s former critics on the left, only wanted to fight for him, when it appeared that he might actually be dealing with some level of disability, which might have bolstered their view that he was being discriminated against.
