“Vice President Kamala Harris is making plans to announce a running mate by Aug. 7 and her aides are conducting the first round of interviews with people in consideration by video calls given the tight timeline,“ the New York Timesreports.
“If she meets the Aug. 7 deadline, Ms. Harris will have squeezed a process of vetting, choosing and introducing a running mate, which typically takes months, into just over three weeks.”
“The Harris campaign began the vetting process on Tuesday and aims to make its selection quickly in order to eliminate legal risk related to securing ballot access in Ohio.”

Hey shouldn’t we wait until Harris has been nominated?
After all a bevy of Republicans ,notoriously Ted Cruz, have insisted for awhile that all this has been nothing but a plot to deliver the nomination to Michelle Obama.
Maybe the final stage of the plot is taking place with her and the former President endorsing Kamala?
Kamala will likely in a day or two announce that she is withdrawing in favor of Michelle!
What say ye Ted and the rest of you kooks?

Funny how now that the Democrats have a spate of good news and Republicans are saddled with the most unpopular VP choice and the oldest nominee in history CG vanishes.
Just like the P1 days.
The ole Republican can’t help himself. Even though that party hates him now he can’t bear to wallow in their despair like he does when Democrats are in disarray.

Maybe I am busy, Scott? I really feel sorry that at your age, you are still this thirsty. I will be having new content on my blog every day between now and Election Day. I start “Race of the Day” on Sunday. I know you read everything I post on there and I appreciate that.
But I think it was pretty clear that I was the one giving warning signs about the Biden candidacy for a long time and especially after the debate, that a change needed to be done to give the Democrats a chance.
That has now been done, and as I predicted, it has improved their situation. I agree with extremely little of the the Democrats’ agenda (outside of the Ukraine issue) but despite Scott’s fervent wish, I am in favor of anything that is bad politically for Trump.

One more thing…
Much of the time, i do try to post something on here, it goes into the filter for some unexplained reason, and it does not appear here. After a while, it feels pointless to keep trying.

The only one less “thirsty” than me is JD Vance in an unfurnished apartment.
CG says
I am more angry about the things that Vance and his ilk have done to the Reagan three-legged stool of conservatism.
Keith says
I think it was sex with the sofa story that scared him away Scott.
You know yesterday i would have never thought that JD or whatever his name is would never get booted from the ticket. Not so sure now.
I wonder if Don Jr. was high when he push his father to pick Vance or whatever his name is.

Democrats flip the script……
I thought they were NOT capable of that?
Shoving Biden aside IS working out Great right now……
In the end it IS about Stopping Trump/MAGA/2025 Project
Biden HAS it seems maybe made the BEST DECISION of his life and political career

Curious what others might think about the below question, if they are being honest.
What were the Democrats’ percentage chance of winning the Presidential election a week ago and what are they now?
My view is
Then- 25%
Now- 50%
